Fish, fish and more fish...We love the coast. The beaches are the best and the seafood is the freshest. It's cool to fish or your dinner. Carolina Beach is fun. The only thing we missed this time was getting some BRITTS doughnuts... =(

To fish on the CB pier, you pay 5$ a person to fish off the pier each day (from midnight to midnight). Don't wear a nice shirt because they staple your "ticket" to the sleeve of your shirt to prove you paid. Bring a chair and anything else you need to fish. They have cheap snacks and tackle/bait. The bathrooms aren't the best, but you're fishing and not dining. I have caught a lot of croakers, flounders, and sharks from the pier, but nothing too spectacular. Ive seen some great catches from my neighboring fishers. Most folks who are fishing are really nice people, but they don't have the best manners. Again, you're fishing.
