You can walk from the end of Edmondson Avenue in Catonsville into historic Oella and then across the Patapsco River to Ellicott City and its historic B&O Railroad Museum, fine dining establishments and shopping. The trail goes by historic homes, and nature paths that also lead to the Banneker Museum. You can stop to eat along the way, head up into the woods or detour a block off the trail to a historic black church. It goes through beautiful park land and I make a point of walking or biking it every time I am in the area. Regardless of the season of the year, it is beautiful.
