The Rock Box theatre does a fantastic job with every production I have ever seen. Had the privilege of seeing the George and Friends show this weekend and really impressed with the talent displayed. Thoroughly entertaining, not a bad seat in the house. And if you get the chance, try and get to the annual Christmas production. It is always fun! For a local theatre, the talent is really fantastic and the shows well done.

Attended play Blithe Spirit on Friday, October 31. My first time to go and it was excellent! The actors did such a good job of bringing this play to life! Cindy Bridges, as Mrs. Bradman, did a great job and I loved her hats that she wore. Costumes were wonderful! The theater itself was very nice and had the most comfortable seating. They have some very good events coming up that I heartily recommend to anyone in the area.

We saw "The Blythe Spirit", which was terrific. The seats are very comfortable and every seat has a good view. They serve refreshments at intermission by donations; and the volunteers are great. This was a very production by people of Fredericksburg. I'm glad we came.

We bought tickets to opening night of Blithe Spirit, and were extremely impressed by the facilities, the organization, opening night fare, and most especially the talent exhibited at FTC. Some of the most comfortable seating of any theater anywhere! Definitely recommend checking out FTC.

We attended a performance of The Fantasticks in August. Nice seating throughout the house. Well presented old musical. Very talented and enthusiastic young cast. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who is in the area.

I ordered my tickets on line for this summer's production of The Fantasticks and there was no problem in securing the five that I needed. This was to be the first time theater experience for my Grand-daughters and it could not have been better. The theater building is a delight and a real gem in the Hill Country. The production was first rate and my girls spent the remainder of the week singing the songs that they heard that night. When asked at the end of the two week visit, what was the best part this theater was the unanimous choice. We will plan to do this every summer for it was just FANTASTICK! Thank you for being alive and well in the hills of Texas.

Being from the Dallas/Ft. Worth theater community, I greatly missed live theater when I moved to Mason in 2012.. I am thrilled to report that I have found my new theater "home" at Fredericksburg Theater Company. It rivals anything in the Metroplex and offers an alternative for entertainment that is a bit harder to find in the Hill Country without a significant commute. I could not be happier and now truly feel at home in the Hill Country! Bravo!

The productions at this theater far exceed what one would expect from a town of this size. The cast and crew are all volunteers. The sets are wonderful, setting the tone for each production. The actors devote many hours to rehearsals and performances and do a great job. Highly recommend!

The recent FTC production of Les Miserables was there best musical during the nine years that I have seen their productions, and the cast had voices and acting ability that could have carried them on any stage...amateur or professional. The voices, the acting, costumes, lighting, the revolving set, and directing were exceptional. Having been involved with the management of one of the major showrooms in Las Vegas (now retired), I can honestly say that this production was as inspirational and rousing as any I have seen, or been involved with. The audience was standing for the full chorus during the last several minutes of the final number. We all wished that the curtain had stayed up all night. This is the best entertainment venue in the Hill Country of Texas! Period.

All I can say is WOW. I went to go see the opening night of "Les Misérables" with my family. I was completly and utterly BLOWN AWAY by the talent in this production. The sets, the costumes, the singing, the acting and everything related was fantastic. Even the seats in the theater were comfortable. I felt at home. I am a 13 year old girl from Colorado, and I have participated in many plays and things of the sort. None of my community theaters productions even come close to this. The show has motivated me to come down to Fredricksburg next summer and participate in the summer program they have for youth. Also, my parents will be coming down in Spring 2015 just to see Fredricksburg Theater Companies "Fiddler on the Roof." I would HIGHLY recommend going to see a play here. It is 100% worth it, trust me.

All of the productions I've seen over years and years in Fredericksburg have been excellent! The acting and scenery is good and you are caught up in the story, finding yourself laughing, nearly crying, then laughing again. The entertainment is top-notch.

I've been to many of their productions -- Lost in Yonkers, Little Shop of Horrors, A Funny thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, etc. They were all a wonderful experience! The seating is excellent, the theater was really built to be a theater, it is not redone. Even the lobby will be decorated, sometimes even with singers to get you in the mood right away. At intermission they serve wine, drinks and light snacks. The sound and light system is great and the ambiance is always friendly, welcoming and professional! It's become so well known that it draws performers from neighboring communities like Austin, so we get top performers. And we have some local performers who are regulars that are fabulous!

What a wonderful show. We loved the theater. It is small and you really get to see the performers up close. The show was like a broadway production. We will return - soon.!!

The Fredericksburg Theater Company, through highly accomplished direction, and convincing acting, delivered the very poignant story that Neil Simon wrote for his Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Lost in Yonkers. The challenging role of Bella, the mentally challenged lead character was portrayed with compassion and sensitivity, and delivered the powerful message that Neil Simon so skillfully wrote. Simply put, this was an outstanding production of a great play.

This community theater group is loaded with wonderful talent. Staging is outstanding. Hard to believe such a small community has such a fantastic theater venue.....but it does.
