This place has some great beers on tap and the staff is super friendly! Stop by on Thursday night between 8-10 for trivia ("Geeks Who Drink" style). Check this brewery out for a couple of hours and you won't be disappointed!

This was a last minute idea. Well worth it though. Small company which makes it ideal to enjoy the craft beers. I'd recommend getting a flight first and then bring home a growler of your favorite. The Mary Washington Gingerbread Stout is delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

First off, Adventure Brewing, despite its logo and name, is NOT an attraction. It's a bar and brewery! Adventure Brewing Co opened only a few weeks ago, and it's a great addition to the area. The beer tastes great -- my favorite is the Stiletto Stout but the Wheat Ale as a close second. And the service is just as great. A few local guys got together to start the brewery, and they are the ones often working at the bar. They are very friendly and willing to chat with customers. The brewery is not in a particularly visible area - for example, you won't see it while driving down Route 1. So you definitely have to know it's there. The bar itself is located in a large warehouse-like space. They brew the beer in half the space, and the bar is in the other half of the space. The brewery address is Fredericksburg but it's definitely located between Stafford and Fredericksburg. The brewing company doesn't sell food but they have a food truck that comes by on weekends. The pork tacos were delicious. As was the corn on cob - it involves, grilling, garlic, & cheese - yum!
