Foresthill is home to many "must sees". The Foresthill Bridge is the tallest bridge in CA, and boasts beautiful views of the valley. There are numerous trails that uncover abandoned mines, gorgeous views, and small bridges and hidden gems. The Western States Endurance run comes through Foresthill and it's always fun to cheer on the runners. Foresthill is one of my favorite places to enjoy!

The Foresthill Bridge is nestled in a great landscape. While it's fun to walk or drive across the bridge, I also recommend doing a hike down by the lower, Mountain Quarry/no-hands bridge in order to get great photos of Foresthill Bridge - which is the 4th highest in the US. There are many hiking trails and it's a beautiful area. Be careful with valuables left in your car, there are break-ins.

I love the drive to this area. There are lake and river drives. There is the Lodge which is now only used for weddings. You can even gold pan. Fishing, and dirt bike. Its awesome.

Great hiking/biking trails. Easy access to all areas. Place is very well kept up. The single trails are awesome...best part is that there are several trails all within a handshake of each other. One path will lead to many more as you go. Great view throughout all the trails. Down the Fire Trail, you can find several water access trails.

We came to see the Foresthill bridge that is seen in the movie XXX with Vin Disel. When we started researching it more we found out this is actually the 4th tallest bridge in the United States. It was really cool to get out and walk it. Be warned: if you decide to park on the side and get out to walk down to the bridge the roadway does dip down and some cars may get damaged on their under carriage.

This is a fun area to hike, bike, explore back roads, play on the river and just relax. The bridge is one of the highlights. It's high and spans the river. There is construction happening, so parking is difficult, but there are parking lots at both ends of the bridge when construction isn't happening.

The bridge was being worked on but we can now say we went over it. They need to make a parking area close to the bridge so people can walk over it. Also a good viewing area from below the bridge would be good.

This was a great place to ride my motorcycyle. It is good for both off road and on the road riding.
