My wife and I come here periodically, usually on weekend evenings to watch the planetarium events. Sometimes there is a short documentary. We also like the night sky lecture with the sky projection inside the planetarium dome. And we've been here on nights when the telescopes were set up for viewing. Obviously, cloudless nights are optimal for such viewing. Check the schedule.

The show was a little slow and perhaps beyond what children would understand. A little too technical. However, viewing the stars in the reclined seats was quite spectacular. The high light afterwards was viewing Saturn and Mars through the telescope outdoors.

We came here for the show and enjoyed it very much. They also set up the telescopes twice a week for free! You can look into the night sky and the students explain what you see. Quite interesting and fun! Our entire family enjoyed it. The only thing is that it is hard to find once on the college campus so call ahead for specific directions! It's worth the trip and great to support local things like this!

We showed up for a guided show just before showtime and were told by the rude person at the desk he had already shut the doors and we were just out of luck. Shame on you!!

I love this Planetarium! The telescopes are set up a couple of nights a week. Students explain what you are looking at and answer any questions. the computers are available to look up more sights and find interesting facts. My kids love coming here.

Buehler Planetarium uses modern digital projection to replicate the sky in different seasons and from different aspects. I came with a group of first grade students, the staff was well equipped to interpret the program to the children. This is a wonderful, educational venue. For the whole family. I highly recommend the Buehler Planetarium.

On Wednesday afternoons you can watch the solar flares coming off of the sun from the giant telescopes and in the evenings on the weekends you can see various stars, constellations and even Saturn with its rings from a large robotic telescope. All for free of course.

For $2 on Wed at 7 watch a live tour on our universe and galaxy. The staff really loves their field of study. At 8 for free get out and look through the telescopes. Wow kids loved this outing.

Went on the night of the super moon....it was super packed!We missed the show because we did not know where on the campus to go, by the time we found it, the store had started. We walked around an waited for them to bring out the telescopes. Even though it was very crowded, they were just so nice and pleasant, that we left at 9 and said we would be back again. My 8 year old daughter really enjoyed it and wanted to see more, we were just in awe that we had seen a nebula, had never thought we would be able to see something like that. The viewing through the telescopes is free, the admission to the show ranges from $3-4 depending on the time.
