McBride's has, without a doubt, the best pot roast I've ever had. You can get it as a dinner with 2 sides, or a sandwich with cheese and grilled onions. Either way, it's fabulous! Some of us had the fried cod (yummy) or the corned beef, but we always come back for the corned beef. McBride's on 52 opened up a beautiful patio with an outdoor bar. McBride's in Plainfield is a little more crowded seating-wise, but that doesn't affect the kitchen, which turns out consistently great food.

Awesome. Ordered Reuben sandwich and was one of the best ever. My son ordered the ribeye sandwich and he said it was delicious. Onion rings were good also. Cole slaw was fresh made. A little pricey but serving size and quality make it well worth it. We also received a complimentary chips and conqueso. Our server (Mike I think) was top shelf. Will visit again soon.

I was very disappointed; the food was not very good, flavorless. Service was the bartender so if there are only a couple of people there you’re ok, but there were about 6 there when i visited and the service was not good. I would not visit again.

We went Monday night for the burger special. The burger and beer special was great, but our waitress was very difficult to find. They were not very busy, she would just disappear in the back and not return for extended periods of time. I think she came to our table three times in the course of an hour. We would have ordered another beer each had she been more attentive.
