On a trip to Mt Beauty i saw that Fainter Falls was a place to visit. So glad i found it! Its about 1 km bush track and easy for most of the walk i would say. There is a few different points where you can view the waterfall really well. the first one is easily accessible. The 2nd is down a steep set of stone stairs and it can be tough on the legs and knees for those that may have knee issues etc., the 3rd lookout point is again up more stone stairs.SO much easier on the way down than the way up the stairs haha.Well worth the adventure

A nice trek up to the falls. We took our two year old with us, who I had to carry most of the way. Nice falls, not the biggest falls I have seen but very nice due to the secluded location. Not a lot of people know about this place. The path leads all the way next to the falls and there are places to view in the middle so you dont have to travel all the way. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

Found this one by chance when riding up to Falls Creek and we came back the next day to do the walk. Take a lunch as it is nice up in the forest there and we were in no hurry to leave.

While visiting Mt. Beauty we went out to Fainter Falls which is not far out of town and on the way there you go through Bogong Village which is well worth an hour or two of your time.A great place to visit there is the Bogong Hydro Electric Power Station . The visitors center is open Sundays and Mondays I think . There was a young lady there who showed us a great film about the Station, it's construction /history etc. She was very well informed about all aspects of the place and was very interesting. Further on you pass a lovely little area called Clover Arboretum which is well worth a stop to walk around the old garden area where there was once a little village set up when a nearby dam was built, It is very interesting and you can read the history of the place there on site. There is parking just of the road near the Fainter Falls sign and it is only a short walk on a good track into the Falls. It is a lovely area, so peaceful and as we had had a bit of recent rain the falls were running quite well. Just nice to take a few minutes and enjoy the sight and sound of the running water. Break the trip and have a look.

Great small walk to a beautiful area of the Fainter Falls. So close to the road yet so far away...Who would think this is so near the road. Beautiful place.

Just up the road from Mouint Beauty on the Falls Creek road. Easy to find with parking just before the bridge. Even though there wasnt a lot of water going over its a real experience for the family. Recommend it.

Picturesque easy well maintained walk (even for younger travellers) to stop en-route to Falls Creek.

The upper Kiewa Valley has a lot of great walking experiences. The short walk in to Fainter Falls from the "Orange" Bridge is well worth the effort. The falls are very impressive as is the view over the river.

Hoped to find it a bit cooler up on the mountain side but we didnt go high enough up. Do recommend to everyone. The forest and creek and falls was memorable. Make sure you give yourselves time to take a swim in the river below the walks carpark. The river is like 'gin".

Couldn't get all the way to the falls due to the red bellied black snake which occupied the middle of the path and refused to budge. Be careful in spring - lots of dangerous snakes breeding.

A nice little walk, if you're relatively fit, if not it might create a bit of huffing & puffing. Beautiful place, very calming. Visited it twice already, will definitely do it again whenever I go to Falls Creek, nothing quite like the beauty of Mother nature.

This easy walk walk above the Pretty Valley branch of the Kiewa River gives great views of the River and at the end of Fainter Falls. Well worth the walk.

Very bushy, the trail heads up and up. It was wet and the rain heavy. We both felt we were in the deep forest. The falls are worth seeing and on the way down we saw a black kangaroo
