mt walsh national park

Climbing Mt Wash was defiantly challenging. It is 1500m to the highest hiking part - the rest of the trip is grappling up boulders. Be sure to get there early in the morning as is was fairly hot. There were BBQ and toilet facilities at the bottom.

This park and mountain is located near Biggenden , North West of Gympie. The original listing is incorrect of location. If you are a hiker or bushwalker this Mountain at 703 meters is worth a hike. Does required hand over hand rock climbing for last part and is quite steep. So only experienced and fit hikers should attempt !

Spent two days in the scenic rim, Border ranges region on the Qld Nsw wales border. Spectacular mountain ranges. Old farms and rolling hills. Started at Tenterfeild and went across to Woodenbong and back to Boonah. Great little towns and the back roads have light traffic. fantastic photo opportunities around every bend. Great lookouts.
