Awesome building that brings you back to the beginning of the century..... Great layout, scenery and location.... Full of Jayuya History.... The place where the Liberation of Puerto Rico started it all.

Up in the mountain of Jayuya is the Canales Family State. Same ground of El Cemi Museum. If you look at the view behind the house the mountain in the bakground has the same shape of a Cemi and Indian God. Nice places to visit. Rest rooms and restaurant on site. City Police Department. Information center and souvenir store.

Is a great place but the "guides" don't clarify us that we should pay $2 to see the Cemí museum and $2 more to see the Nemesio Canales museum.

Although it's a replica, the place is very interesting, holds a lot of history, and the person in charge-even though she told us she did not have prior experience-was very knowledgeable and gave us a great introduction and kept up with us. A Must.
