After 10+ years as a season ticket holder to the Company Theater's exceptional line up of performances, I am proud to be able to add a critique to their outstanding theatrical presentations. This is a community theater that offers first class orchestration within their musical offerings, among them Ragtime, Miss Saigon, Les Miserable, Aida, Company, Chess, Jesus Christ Superstar, Full Monty, The Producers, Le Cage aux Faux and so many, many more musicals, dramas & Christmas presentations (don't miss Mary Poppins this 2015's extravaganza) . These are FULL STAGE productions folks complete with helicopters, pyramids and snowfall - - all for the paltry sum of $37, give or take a few $, free parking included! I ask you where else can you find the exceptional quality of acting, the Broadway-like orchestra under the superb direction of maestro Michael Joseph and the comfort of stadium seating for a venue as professionally managed as this for so little money? Not to be forgotten, their Special Events menu that include everything from Joyce Kulhawik to Five O'clock Shadow as well as their Company Teen Conservatory's 2015 performances of Oklahoma. Shrek & Honk are well within the budget ($15-20) of all. For more info on this great venue go to companytheater.com and find out for yourself!A hidden treasure

I truly find the Company Theatre to be a blessing above all else. That should tell you a lot. The people who run it (Zoe, Jordie,Michael and Sally) and work there are ALL about uplifting people. My daughter did the ACT Camp in the Summer and I knew right away that I wanted this place to be a part of our lives forever. All of the performances I have seen there are surprisingly outstanding. From set design, to costumes, lighting, and the acting and singing. Treat yourself to a show, a class or do the same for your children. A true treasure!

I've been going to the Company Theatre performances since the beginning - 35 years ago! They always were something very special, and when they took over the old Nickerson Theatre in Norwell - many years ago - there was nothing stopping them. Now presenting first class musicals and plays, plus offering educational opportunities for all ages, they are even more extraordinary. You won't find a better musical director than Michael Joseph, Zoe Bradford and Jordie Saucerman are masters of stage production and Sally Forrest can move people around as well as anyone on Broadway. Great seasonal offerings, the price is right, parking is free and easily accessible. There is nothing left to say, except if you have not yet treated yourself to Company Theatre - it's time! Don't wait another season - you just missed GLASS MENAGERIE starring one Carol Stearns, one of the best actresses in the state - make sure you don't miss the Christmas show!!! It will make you very happy.

I liked that it was small enough that you really don't get a bad seat. but I didn't like that we were seated so close that we had a hard time getting out at intermission.

My family makes a trip at least once a year for their annual Christmas show. We've never been disappointed. We make it part of our holiday celebrations. Not one bad seat in the house, the actors are incredible and the house band is just as incredible! Plenty of parking as it is located in an industrial park area. The kids will love it! Snacks are available during intermission (popcorn, candy, soda, water). Tickets can be purchased online, in person or over the phone.

I brought my mother who was visiting to see this show. It was fantastic! The singing, dancing and band was just what we needed.

This is a neighborhood gem. Have been to many performances and all have been good. The cast puts in 100 o/o.

We just saw the "Carpenters" tribute show, and it was wonderful entertainment. We have found, over time, that there are great, and not so great offerings at The Company Theatre. You have to choose something that appeals to you, and chances are the show will be a smart buy.

I remember when this was Nickerson Theater back in the day and now I am so glad it is back with quality shows. It isn't Broadway... or even Boston... but it is a nice theater with entertaining shows run by good, hard working people. You will enjoy your night here.

No matter what production I've seen at this little gem of a theater, I've never been disappointed. Is it a Broadway production? No. But it is so worth going. From the talented performers to the stage design and production, I hope this local theater, like so many others, is able to stay in business for many years to come!

The physical theater is intimate (about 300 seats), comfortable seating, good sight lines and acoustics. The offered events and productions vary from excellent to "why am I sitting here". We have been to the theater dozens of times over the years, and are usually very satisfied with the performances. Pricing really can't be beat. Most performances range between $20 and $40. per seat, and there really isn't a bad seat in the house.
