In an age of "coffee shop" bookstores with floor to ceiling stacks and endless choices of coffee flavors, this little shop is a throwback to "the old days". Decidedly NOT modern, charmingly outdated and kitschy. This little shop has many nooks and crannies to explore. (and yes, they do have coffee)While I was visiting, I had the privilege of meeting Chris the owner. He is a charming man, very helpful and a Blytheville native. I passed a very pleasant afternoon there on my first visit chatting with him and enjoying some of the local "personalities" that visited the store. The story carries and interesting array of books by local authors as well as current titles. Can't find it? Chris will order it for you. You might find a larger selection and lower prices at Walmart... but you won't have nearly as pleasant of an experience. The shop is located down town in the more "historic" area of Blytheville. Support the local small businesses down there and while you are there, stop in at That Bookstore.
