This company is full of people who love what they do and after your boat tour, you'll love it too! We had so much fun with Cpt Eric feeling the power of the boat on the open water and also slowly exploring the marshes and swamps - look out for da gatahs, baby!We saw a big 12-footer and some teeny babies we actually got to hold. Watch out - they bite! We saw snakes and a ton of birds. Cpt Eric shared his knowledge of local flora and fauna alike.Great trip; you should go!

This trip is EVERYTHING you want a swamp tour to be. It was FAN-tastic! Pun intended! Take the Airboat and you will NOT be disappointed. Captain Eric took us out and got us right up on the gators. Cpt. Eric took us through marsh, swamp, and open water alike. He was very knowledgeable about the area and knew all about the plants and animals alike. Cpt. Eric even caught, and let us hold, a gator while telling us all about them. For an extra thrill Cpt. Eric really opened up the engine and let fly. It was AWESOME! Do NOT miss this tour!

We took the 4:00pm tour match 8,2015. The temperature was perfect. We seen several small/medium sized gators and one water moccasin. The tour guide was so friendly, funny and knowledgeable! I'm so glad we decided to do it. Only thing I recommend, it's that if you have a few or more ppl in your group do not pay the pick up at hotel price, we saved almost $40 between the three of us by just calling a taxi both ways. Highly recommend this tour!

Took the swamp tour but not the air boat. We have done various swamp tours in Florida but must say this was the best by far. Staff is so friendly, and our guide (sorry forgot his name) was a riot. This was not just a "show you around here and there tour" he actually took the time to tell stories and give us history about the area and alligator hunting.Easy pick up from Canal Street, booked with Carmine (504)-258-8150 and no payment till you get there.

First off let me tell you. Please dress in layers and bring a blanket. We took the 1030 tour it was FREEZING out on the water. I had a sweater on still wasn't nearly enough. We saw about 1 baby gator. The guide was very very informative and honest. It wasn't a typical cheesy tour he was honest and knowledgeable like he was talking about his home. He knew the vegetation and birds and all things about swamp fishing. If nothing else it's very peaceful out in the swamp and the few people you meet are very friendly. I guess at this time of month he says gators like to stay warm so they aren't out much.

Worth every single penny. Don't second guess this - get the airboat tour you will not regret it! Friendly staff, beautiful views and a very good look at a 14 ft gator.

Visiting New Orleans in late January 2015 and wanted a buyou/swamp and gator tour. Stopped at a booth near the French Quarter and was enthusiastically sold on the airboat tour. We were all but assured a wild ride and lots of gators and even wild boar. In fact he told us they feed the boar so they know where to come looking for an easy meal. Well, we certainly got 1/2 of the promise. The ride and guide are AWESOME. It was chilly so bundle-up (winter hat if you have one) and the airboat moves fast and is load. The guide was great, when we took our ear protection off he was informative and friendly. Gators and wild boar... well, apparently gators are pretty much in hibernating mode (they actual something called "brumation") so even if you see one it's highly unlikely to be moving. In nearly two hours of looking... we saw one gator in the last 5 minutes of the trip. It was tiny, motionless and looked like a stuffed prop (I only say that half in jest.. kind of funny we saw it at the last possible place we looked before heading in).I would do this again in a heartbeat but with no expectation of seeing anything other than some amazing swamps and getting a great, fast ride.

My Boyfriend and I were recommended this tour by the hotel concierge. It was a chilly morning, but we bundled up well & there were blankets we used on our lap. We did the airboat tour - it goes fast and it was very exhilarating - but we felt completely safe as you could tell Captain Randy knew how to handle the boat. We stopped often to look at wildlife and he was very knowledgeable about all things swamp. We only saw one Alligator - but it was still an amazing way to see a place I had never seen before. Saw so many beautiful birds and the beautiful foliage! Totally a must do, well worth the price. I highly recommend it to everyone! Just make sure you bundle up if you go on a cool day!

This was the highlight of our trip to NOLA. Our boat captain Randy made our 2 hour trip into the bayou both fun and informative. That guy could spot gators and other things of interest long before our unseasoned eyes could. He would stop the boat and explain everything as well as take time to answer all of our questions. I would do this again in a heartbeat. Great outing.

We had a great time on this tour! I'm from North Louisiana but live in New Mexico now. I truly enjoyed being on the water and experiencing the Louisiana swamp like I haven't in the past. Being on an air boat was really great and our Captain was terrific! I was amazed at how well he could spot the alligators and other swamp life. He went out of his way to get us close enough for great photos of the wildlife and took us to other areas of the swamp to take scenic photos. He was informative and full of interesting tidbits. We found it very convenient to be picked up at the hotel, other tours required you to find your own way to their boat docks. Our driver also took the time to give us a bit of a tour on the way to the boat and impart information on the city. This group of folks are very friendly! I've already recommended this tour to family who will go to New Orleans in March and they plan to sign up! Don't miss it~

A very cool and informative guide that answered every question we had. He told us about all the wild animals that lives in the swamps and it was very interesting. A nice break away from the city!

We booked the airboat swamp tour thru our hotel. On the day of the tour we werer called to remind us of the early morning pick up- what they should have done was cancel the trip- it was about 40 degrees & overcast- which means on the airboat it would be about 30 degrees & certainly you wouldnt see anything- they didnt advise us to wear coats but thankfully we did- but that wasnt enough-they had no blankets for us- it was ridiculous- even the people on the regular boat wrere freezingVERY IRRESPONSIBLE- especially at those prices-

This is a great way to experience the Louisiana swamp. We got to see several gators sunning in the wild and the tour guide had lots of information to provide. A must see if you are visiting the New Orleans area.

We decided to splurge since it was our tenth anniversary and do an airboat tour of the swamp. It was pricey at $180.00 for the two of us, but that was still cheaper than other comparable companies charged. This included hotel pickup. The gentleman who picked us up at our hotel was right on time and even with stopping at a few other hotels we were on location within about 30 minutes. They do two tours--one in a traditional larger boat and another in an airboat that holds about ten people. Our tour was with four other people and lasted about 90 minutes. The guide was nothing short of awesome. We didn't see too many gators, but he explained why. He gives you a fast ride and stops numerous times along the way to point things out and take questions. I loved the fact that this was just a few of us on the boat it almost felt like you were traveling with friends and family including the guide. You could tell this was a mom and pop type operation and those are almost always the best. Highly recommended.

In striking contrast to some of the reviews for this tour company, we had a very good experience. The boat was in good condition, the captain had plenty of knowledge about the area, the plants and animals and the fishing community, and we received a confirmation call on the same morning as our tour. It was cold this December morning, so when you go, make sure to bring enough clothing. Some people were not prepared and suffered. We were told that Warmer weather is better for seeing animal life.
