We came in on a Friday and we found there were no tours that day. We were disappointed but of course accepted that. As we were looking in the little shop to buy some pepper sauce a lady told us she would like to give us a tour anyway. Wow, that's service and Southern Hospitality big time. Later it turned out to be the production manager herself gave us a tour. We saw the shipping area and the production lines. They were at a stand still but maybe that was a benefit because we could see and hear everything in a quiet, calm manner. Great plant, great product (after I tasted it at home) and a must see if you are in the neighborhood. Tours are free and as I might add much better than the Tabasco plant tour in Avery Island

The Panola Pepper Company makes wonderful pepper sauce. If you visit their factory in Lake Providence, you can purchase the sauce for a very discounted price. You can also take a free tour of the factory and see how they make the sauce. All of the employees are very friendly and helpful. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend a visit to the Panola Pepper Factory.
