Wow, can't believe nobody ever reviewed this museum before...Very interesting museum. There are various buildings on this cotton plantation. The office building houses two exhibits, there is the old commissary, an old slave cabin, a chapel, a gin with many old tools in the back, a gins office and the main museum building. All surrounded by cotton and soybeans fields. The ladies in the old house take you on a guided tour and let you stroll around free later. It was very interesting for us, we had never seen cotton in our life and the complete process of the production was unknown to us. Even for people that grow up with cotton this is a very interesting museum to go and check out. Nice little shop as well. Entrance is free, donations are appreciated.
