We are glad that you were able to catch lots of fish and enjoy the beautiful rivers we get to fish. However, we are sincerely sorry that your experience was not all that you had wanted. We normally ask our clients if they have a park pass before taking the shortest route to the river through the park or ask them if they are ok with purchasing a park pass. There is a longer alternative route we can take if this is a problem. It sounds like that did not happen and we are more than happy to reimburse you for that. As far as your experience with our guide, this is not the experience we strive to provide as you can see by all the other positive reviews. Please feel free to call me directly at our office (406)888-5454 and we will make it right. Warm Regards,Cassie BaldelliCo-Owner of Glacier Anglers

Being new to Fly Fishing my brother and I were in need of some extra attention and instruction. Not only did Eric the guide spend an ample amount on instruction and theory, he continued to work with us throughout the day long trip. We have since been back for two more trips and the experiences were even better. I Highly recommend this outfit.

I can't praise Glacier Anglers enough for the day of fishing I had. My guide (Sam, I believe) was the best guide I have ever had. He got me to the best water, hung in there when fishing was good and happy to move on to better locations when it was slow. He clearly knew the river like the back of his hand and shared that knowledge with me. The river side lunch was elegant and perfect. Look no further for a fishing guide on the Middle Fork of the Flathead...Glacier Anglers is the way to go!!

My husband and I had Chris as our guide, and he was so patient and helpful in teaching my husband the art of fly fishing. He worked really hard to keep us where the fish were! Our next trip with Glacier Anglers will include a multi day trip into the Great Bear Wilderness. We totally recommend Glacier Anglers.

We had Mark as a guide, he was really helpful with our fly fishing techniques, and put us on fish all day long. I can't wait to come back and do it again

Very cold & windy day but we had lots of fun. Our guide worked very hard to get the boat in areas where we could fish without fighting the wind. He was very knowledgable & patient.

Guide was fantastic! Very patient with my son and I who had never fly-fished before. He did everything he could to ensure we caught some fish. Beautiful location and the half day trip was longer than advertised, at least 5 hours. Would definitely recommend highly.

We got two boats/guides for a full-day float of the N. Fork. We had a great time, learned a lot, and caught lots of trout.

My husband booked a 4 day float on the North Fork Flathead as part of an anniversary trip to Montana. We couldn't have had a better time! Garret, our guide, was wonderful! He was knowledgable about the river and patient with me as a beginner fly fisher woman. Each morning he made us a delicious and filling breakfast to start the day. We were delighted that each lunch was also cooked fresh (hot dogs, hamburgers, kebabs) wherever beautiful spot we stopped to eat. Even after an exhausting day in the sun, he made a fantastic dinner. I'm also allergic to nuts and gluten and Garret did a good job making everything gluten free! His gear guy, Andrew, was also great! Each day he had our camp set up and when we arrived it always looked inviting. He always put our tent somewhere comfy, even if it took some effort. He was also a great sous chef to Garret. We all shared some good times around the campfire as well as many laughs. At first they both were very polite in giving us our own space understanding it was our anniversary, but we so enjoyed their company we insisted they hang with us for meals etc.,. We highly recommend both of these guys for your next float trip or fishing trip! Oh, and the scenery is spectacular up there and the fishing is consistent and entertaining. Never a dull moment and a trip we will not soon forget!

Great family business. Nice people. Good facilities. Great Guide. Not a lot of fish in the River. Private Guide. Great Teacher. Beautiful location.

A great time. Shane our guide was outstanding. Instruction and support was super and we caught plenty of trout because of that. One of the best guided trips I've ever been on.

We initially booked one half day guided fly fishing trip, but ended up doing TWO half-day and ONE full day trips! In part, our multiple day bookings included the incredible staff working the outdoor center. We had some unusual (and last minute) requests that were always met. CHRIS was our first tour guide. We learned so much about the waters, and where he said fish would be, they were. His guidance on casting, stripping, and hooking the fish were spot on! Our second day we once again had Chris with the addition of a second boat lead by KELSEY. The full day was masterful! Again, the day on the Middle Fork was full of catching fish (bigger than the first day), and mastering our styles! The final day was impromptu and last minute and we had the opportunity to fish with TATE, who took us to new waters and navigated our raft through more Flathead Beauty! Whether it's CHRIS, KELSEY, or TATE you won't go wrong! Personable, helpful, and patient are just a few of their qualities during these guided trips. The time went by so quickly. Take your camera for some incredible pictures!

I just experienced this trip for the second time, and again rate it amongst my all time favorite wilderness river fly fishing trips. The entire staff, from reservations, to wranglers to the river guides is professional, skilled, and top notch. Being guided by Darwon Stoneman, the owner of Glacier Raft Company, and a veteran of over 150 descents down this river is an experience like no other. The food was outstanding, the scenery unmatched, and the numbers of cutthroat trout that land in your net is the most prodigious I have ever experienced. I will return to do this trip again, and again, as I thrive on the healthy dose of remote wilderness, beautiful scenery, and unmatched fly fishing this trip provides.

We have done a little fly fishing before, but this was our first boat trip. Our guide Chris was very helpful and patient giving us some instruction and untangling lines when it was needed. We went on a really cold, wet, and sometimes very windy day. The fish were not biting. But despite the less than ideal weather, as a group we probably caught maybe 10 fish. Chris knew where to put us on fish and the best flies for the conditions. The lunch was pretty good, and the scenery was outstanding. A really nice day.

Great experience for all skill levels and top notch guides - Shane, Scott and Dave. Two day fishing package left me wanting to stay the rest of the week. I had not done any fly fishing for river trout prior to this trip, but Shane and Scott managed to get us on fish early and educate throughout the float. These guys were passionate, patient (mending is not as easy as it sounds!) and professional the entire time. I will highly recommend this outfit and can't wait to head back out there.
