We had a wonderful two hour trip down the Yellowstone River. Our guide, Eric, was amazing with a wide knowledge of the river and its wildlife. Additionally, they allowed our dog, Flower, to join us and she jumped into the water with Eric!I would highly recommend taking the time to spend time with Paradise Adventure and our next trip to Montana, I will opt for the whitewater adventure.

I want to first of all thank you for rafting us! I specifically remember your group of 8 Adults. 8 people in that size of raft is typical for our shorter trip and since you were one group all together, we did not want to split you up.Our river is not dam controlled so whatever we get from Mother Nature is what we get and we NEVER advertise extreme or advanced rafting. Coming in August you will have smaller water but our rapids are rated bigger than Class I, even in August.You purchased our shorter trip which is 6 miles, if you would like a longer trip, I would recommend the 18 mile trip. It is a nice combo of whitewater and floating with lunch.We do have another office that we run a different section of the river but ALL of the rafting companies run the exact same routes on The Yellowstone River. After the section you rafted it is flat all the way to the Missouri River (over 600 miles away).Come see us earlier in the season, we would love for you to come have fun with us in the high water!!Thanks again!!

My 7 year old son and I booked the all day rafting trip at Gardiner. I anticipated we would have a good time and it turned out to be well beyond my expectations as it was over the top fun, thrilling and educational from start to finish. Our guide Jack was a master on the river providing always the right instruction and guiding the raft when needed. All the staff at Paradise were so wonderful. I highly recommend this company for anyone looking for top equipment, instruction and safety. I particularly appreciated be able to purchase photos of our trip in different parts of the river. The photos will be a special addition to our family photo album. We look forward to returning next year. Thanks again to Jack for a wonderful ride! John M

If you're visiting in or around Chico Hot Springs in Pray, MT (short drive from Livingston, MT) - I highly recommend a raft trip with Paradise Adventure Co. Sarah, Yogi (cutest and most entertaining Jack Russel!!) and the 2 guides (Ed and Trevor) on our trip were fabulous. Nicest folks you'd ever want to meet. Knowledgeable about the tract of the Yellowstone they're rafting. Focused on safety and ensuring an awesome experience for all. My two teenagers (13, 14) had a great time. It was my son's first time rafting. My daughter and I have been multiple other times. We all want to go back next visit!

We booked a half day whitewater trip the morning before a cousin's wedding at Chico Hot Springs. Sarah, Ed and Yogi (Sarah's Jack Russell) were a hoot while we suited up in our cold water gear at Chico and Ed was a great guide down the river. Lots of excitement as we made our way north on the Yellowstone as we navigated rapids with names like box car! Highly recommended for those with even a mildly adventurous outlook.

First whitewater ride with our kids-ages 6, 9 and 12. Was a little worried about taking the youngest on this trip but Sarah assured meIt would be fine. She was totally correct! Class 1&2 and perfect forOur family-not scary at all.The scenery was gorgeous and MUCH more fun then driving in the car! Our guide Trevor made all of us feel comfortable and told funny stories along the way! We all even got out of the boat and swamIn the Yellowstone river. Sarah the owner not only is super warm and friendly, but she is right there in the midst of all the action-from welcoming you, helping get your vests and helmets on,driving the bus to drop everyone off, to taking pictures of us all going down the river! One of THE most fun days we have had with our kids! Highly recommend!!

We booked a rafting trip 6 months in advance; not knowing what to expect! Our 1st rafting trip (a scenic slow water trip) turned out to be a beautiful and breathtaking trip up the Yellowstone River! We had an excellent guide by the name of Abram, and he made the 1 3/4 hr. voyage a time that the 4 of us will never forget! He pointed out the history of the area and the river, showed us native animals and birds for picture-taking and stopped on an island in the river so that all boat participants could pick up some Yellowstone River rocks to take home as keepsakes. I highly recommend this adventure....

This was a great whitewater rafting trip for the family and truly a highlight of our trip! The Yellowstone River is just breathtaking as it winds through Paradise Valley. Paradise Adventure has really friendly staff, entertaining and experienced guides, clean boats and, being across the parking lot, it was super convenient for Chico Lodge guests. My kids, age 8 & 12, had a blast and I always felt that we were safe in the boat. Our guide, Abram, was a hoot and Sarah, the owner, was really nice. We even bought the photo CD afterwards because there were just too many great photos to choose from. This is a MUST DO when in the Yellowstone National Park area!

Visiting Montana/Yellowstone from the UK. First time I've done white water rafting and loved every minute of it. We were made to feel safe and welcome. Dan, our guide, was fun, knowledgeable and very enthusiastic and ensured we all felt safe and had a blast at the same time. Great value for money, would highly recommend. Plan to return again next year!

Visiting Yellowstone from England. This was an amazing experience - could have spent all day out there. Dan our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable - he obviously loves his job! One of our party was nervous of the trip but was made to feel confident and safe - tribute to the staff. Excellent value for money, highly recommended. Will return in 2013. Thanks guys. Give Yogi a hug!

Rafting the Yellowstone River with Paradise Rafting Co and Sean as our guide was terrific! The rafting was a great adventure and Sean was engaging and fun. The rapids were just the right amount of fun for our group which ranged in age from 6 to 73. The time passed far too quickly and we all agreed we would love to do it again.

I am not one to write reviews but this place was excellent. We have never been to this area of the country and didn't know what to expect. There wasn't a question anyone on this trip couldn't feel comfortable to ask. Sarah who checked us in treated everyone like a welcomed new friend and was very accommodating to any questions. Also Abram our guide was better than perfect. He didn't just get us down the river, he told us about the river. Anything from informing us about how much water is moving through the canyon per second to stories of the early days in that area. The bus driver and the guide in the other boat were extremely nice as well. Wish I could remember their names to give them credit as well. Pretty good day for a family from Arkansas.

Rafting the Yellowstone River is a great experience .... it is not the wildest whitewater, but still a lot of fun and the nature is incredible. I went with Paradise Adventure Company and it turned out to be a great choice. Not only do they have fun and experienced guides .. they also have the coolest looking boats and the guy taking the photos seems to be a pro. Nice memories ;-)

Visiting Yellowstone Park this summer our family of four decided tobook a 1/2 day raft trip down the Yellowstone River out of Monatana. While it was later in the summer and the water level was down a bit there were quite a few exciting rapids during our trip. My husband and 13 yr old son got some time in the front padding where the wild and wet action was and Levi our guide made sure we went down the best part of the rapids. Lunch was on a river bank and consisted of sandwichs, soda chips and cookies - while not fine dining the scenery was amazing. Even my 10 yr old daughter who alternated between being afraid and thinking the trip was going to be boring enjoyed the ride immensely. If you go, prepare to get wet and ask for Levi!

We took the scenic float out of Chico Hot Springs. The people were profoundly nice and our guide, Abram, was amazing. Due to an injury, one of us could not paddle in a white water boat, so we opted for the scenic float. Abram had a wealth of knowledge about the area and was a delight to be with for the ride. My family really likes to swim, so , when possible, we all jumped in the water and floated next to the boat. We felt safe the whole time - Abram pulled us back into the boat each time the water was about to get too shallow or rocky to swim. He was so kind to my two children (16 and 13) in addition to being a skilled boat guide. Unlike the previous reviewer, our trip was extended a few minutes so that we would have plenty of time to enjoy the river. This was much appreciated. I would highly recommend this company.
