My wife and I held our wedding reception at Rock Springs not long ago. Firstly, the property is in a beautiful location and fairly well-maintained. It is overpriced for what is provided, but being one of very few places of its kind in the area, the premium is not unexpected. This brings us to the matter of service. The proprietors were at best aloof and at worst rude and calculative. They seem to feel the need to nickel and dime their customers for the most minor things, while already charging inflated prices for the barn rental, tables and chairs, glasses, and tablecloths. Even on the day itself, they were rude to members of the wedding party and declined to honor a refund previously agreed upon, citing their provision of tables for the caterer (which one would assume was covered in the $1500+ bill).Though the property is nice, save yourself the frustration of doing business with these individuals. My wife and I remarked that our wedding day would have been essentially perfect had we worked with another venue. They were literally the worst vendors we interacted with throughout the course of our wedding planning.
