Have never been to Dutchess Stadium for anything except Renegades games, which is their core focus. Always a good time with plenty of great fattening foods to go with the game. As it should be. Game ticket prices can't be beat and it's actually more fun than major league games because it's not a mad house and prices for food are reasonable. Well worth the trip, especially on fireworks nights.

Il will cost you no more than 16$ for tickets to see the Hudson Valley Renegades play. This is a very nice, "not too big not too small" stadium where you'll be close enough to the action and also feel a great ball game atmosphere. The stadium is a few minutes drive from Poughkeepsie or Fishkill. On site parking (huge lot) is 5$. The Renegades are a good team, very competitive. They are the Tampa Bay Ray's class A short season affiliate. This is a great way to end a summer day or to spend a sunday afternoon, when in the Hudson Valley.

Take peanuts and cracker jacks, add in a dancing raccoon, funny announcer, enthusiastic workers who entice you to do goofy things and you have a perfect outing for all ages. Oh, and there's also amazing baseball being played as well! Affordable food options round out the experience. If you have just one night to experience the best of summer, come on out to the Dutch to see the Gades!

Local baseball that is easy to get to and affordable for the entire family. Not the best baseball, not the Yankees, but enjoyable in a very comfortable and affordable setting

Dutchess Stadium is a great place for families to enjoy a good baseball game. Good food and plenty of activities for the kids at a reasonable price. Pick a day where there are fireworks after the game and all will go home happy. The Hudson Valley Renegades are the" A " ball team for the Tampa Bay Rays and who knows you may be watching a future "Hall of Famer". So don't miss a chance to have a good time when you are in the Hudson Valley.

They have several events at the stadium all summer long and many fun events for local games. It is a great way to enjoy baseball without "breaking the budget". Almost every game has a speical giveaway or theme. Many of the events include a giveback to the community.

First time attending a semi-pro game. Compared to the majors this was a better experience for the whole family including the 10 and 12 year olds. Parking is $5 on a gravel lot close to the stadium. Arrive at least 30 minutes early. There are basically two catagories of seating; close (benches) or closer (boxes seats). There are pre game opportunities to meet the players and activites for kids and parents with plenty of corpoorate sponsored prizes and gift giveaways. Before the game we won movie tickets, food coupons, a detailed car wash and all sorts of kiddie trinkets.Bring your camera for plenty of photo ops with players, mascots and comic characters. The game gets started and the enterainment goes on in between innings with audience participation and more prizes. The game itself is much like the majors with all the drama of hits and misses. Later we moved to the right field cantina where we sat at tables with beers and sodas to watch the rest of the game behind first base. The three hours went by quickly and the game was just as good.

Great summer eve time. Very family children orientated. Semi pro ball. Baseball games they way they were when I was a kid. Players approachable, they have nice children's park. They interact with fans shooting tshirts into stands. All reasonably priced. Plenty of parking. Take me out to the ball game.

We have been going to the Renegades for years- ever since my son was 2. It's the perfect place to get your child used to a baseball game. They make it fun for kids with games, mascots, and even a bouncy house!

Four of us, close couples that we are, annually make a trip to experience the roots of baseball up close and personally. There are many playful and tolerably silly distractions between innings, with varying competitions, shirts fired out of portable cannons, lotteries involving stubs or seat locations, etc. Occasionally, there's a somewhat famous former major leaguer managing, an up and coming star or a major player on rehab, hopefully only of the physical therapy variety. The field is clean and attractive. I can't fathom too many simpler ways to access affordable summer fun together, especially for a young family. It's a bit bumpy in the parking lot, but minor leagues have to play tight , given their limited budgets, the overall economy and related attendance issues. I think some people may not consider enough the additional complications of achieving more efficient egress at game's end. For myself, I've never minded leaving a few minutes earlier when in a hurry, or sitting awhile with a book, some music, news or friend before heading to the car at game's end. I mean have you seen the costs of similar seat attendance, dining and parking for major league games lately? One sandwich there can, with a special offer, cover the whole gamut here with change left over.Speaking of which, there are occasional package deal nights which become almost compelling in their largesse. For what's truly a nominal fee, which I won't specify because it's subject to change from year to year, we get the following: parking , a fine seat, casual dining with choices of non alcoholic beverage, a scorecard and a new, surprisingly tax free Volvo 960 in choice of colors. Ahh, so now you're paying attention. Of course, I'm just kidding. You have to pay for the soda.

Sometimes we travel for many miles for site-seeing or entertainment when there are so many opportunities closer to home. Dutchess Stadium is one of those places and minor league baseball in general, is one of those opportunities that many of us have in our back yard, yet we don't take advantage. Do it. It's a lot of fun.

This is a nice ballpark. The residents of Dutchess County should be happy to have a nice park and venue for minor league teams. Its easy to get to, plenty of parking, and other events are also held there.

Great place to see minor league baseball. A lot of fun and interactive action with fans and players while they are still approachable. Most won't go oon to the bigs but some will. It is also a great spot for concerts. I saw Dylan and Willie Nelson there on the same night.
