This store is most amazing. I live in the area and visit the store quite often. The Mohican Trading Post is a gift shop and an old fashioned soda fountain and old fashioned candy store. I live in the area and have been there numerous times and every time I go in, there are more unique gifts. The ice cream is the best, but the real attraction for me is the old fashioned candy from my childhood. Wax lips, wax bottles, button strips candy cigaretts, pop rocks, and so much more. The Mohican trading post should be a must stop for everyone. Even if you just come in to browse. The Ludmans have created a unique experience in the Catskill area.

We've been to this place about 4 times now, and we find items you don't find in too many places. We've bought little cedar boxes with pictures affixed to them, which I used to make cigar box guitars from, very unique ad different. We've bought models of homes, hand made items and Christmas items. When ever we're up in this neck of the woods, we make it a point to stop by. The owners are very friendly and it is a pleasure doing business with them.

This little corner store has some pretty cool items. Be sure to check out the old photos of Leeds in the back corner. Plus they have an old time soda fountain counter. We didn't have any ice cream, but will next time.
