I had not planned to jump out of a plane this past weekend but wow so glad I saw the signs and stopped in. I have never done skydiving before but I will definitely do it again. This was a surprise from my fiance' and I am thrilled that I did it. Everyone at this place is amazing and they make you feel welcome and part of the group.

52 years old - 1st sky dive, was a tandem jump. All of the staff at Out-Of-The-Blue were terrrrr-ific !! Polite, knowledgeable, but very no-nonsense - after all, this is more than just an amusement park ride. In any event, I cannot say anything more about this operation other than it was well run, organized, and very high energy based on all of the adrenaline running through everyone there (hahahaaa). I highly recommend this outfit for any skydiving endeavor, and would certainly not hesitate to use hire them again. Abig thank you to my instructor Doug.

I am a "once a year" skydiver. Just completed my 31st jump in 30 years of participation. My son Jake turned 18 a couple of weeks ago, and for the past 10 years he has made it clear that all he wanted for his 18th birthday was to go skydiving. We visited Out of the Blue this past Saturday morning for a tandem jump. In all my years I have jumped at 3 drop zones in California, 2 in Utah,2 in Nevada and 3 in Colorado. I will say that Out of the Blue is the best I have ever visited. My son jumped with Andy and I jumped with Ryan. These guys were both 100% professional. Even though I had a lot of experience, Ryan was very conscientious and by the numbers before, during and after the jump. He allowed me to "drive" the jump, and it was flawless. Even before my son got back on the ground from jump #1, he was planning jump #2. If you are in Colorado and have an interest in this exciting sport, I highly recommend Out of the Blue. The best skydiving experience I have ever had, period.

Surprised my girlfriend with a trip to Out of the Blue to do some skydiving. These folks are very professional and knowledgeable. We went into the air and at 5,000 or so feet, the pilot opted to take the plane down because of the winds from a passing storm. They used the latest technology to determine that the storm would move and that there would be another window of nice weather so we decided to wait it out. They kept us updated every step of the way until we were in the air again. The owner is even one of the instructors who will jump with you in the tandem jumps. Long story short, we had a great experience and were glad to cross this off the bucket list with Out of the Blue Skydiving!!!

The place was professional, the people kind, and the experience was fun! I am afraid of heights and not overly thrilled to be doing this and they were so nice! My husband and I checked skydiving off of our bucket list and are so glad that we chose Out of the blue Skydiving as the place. Cecil I believe was my partner- so kind and funny. THANK YOU all!

I visited Out of the Blue Skydiving for my 18th birthday and had a spectacular time! I arrived and was able to watch the previous batch of jumpers land, which was a great way to start to the entire experience. I met JD, my instructor, early on and he helped make me feel comfortable before I even left the ground. I wasn't nervous at any point and the way my instructor and the other jumpers conducted themselves made me feel very safe and carefree. It was a lighthearted atmosphere all day and I felt welcomed and enjoyed myself from the moment I got there. The jump was exhilarating and I had a blast the whole way down. Another instructor, Melody, joined us in our free fall. After the jump was over, JD let me view all the pictures that had been and Melody was incredibly kind and helpful with my mother and I in explaining all the goes on at Out of the Blue. He and she both helped make this experience one to remember. I would like to thank both of them for the absolutely incredible time and all the effort and passion they put into their work. It wouldn't have been the same without their help and expertise! Overall, Out of the Blue Skydiving is THE place to go if you're looking to skydive. They know how to have a good time!

There were 6 of us that jumped on 4/21/13. Out of the Blue Skydiving is one of the best Skydiving companies in Colorado. They are expertly trained to give you the most incredible and unforgettable experience. I would have to say that they made my experience one the greatest moments in my life so far. I haven't stopped smiling since I got back from doing it. I live in Denver, but the 2 hour drive to Penrose is well worth it. I can't imagine ever going with another company for skydiving. It is very refreshing to deal with people who are so passionate about what they do. I would do it again in a heart beat!

My partner and I had an absolutely STELLAR time jumping with Out of the Blue this weekend. The staff was friendly, personable, and eager to share the sport they so clearly love. Both the instructors we had were experienced and knowledgeable, which helped calm the nerves of this first-timer. The small company size means we got excellent, personalized service. The small plane held just the four of us (my partner and I along with our two tandem instructors) and the pilot, which absolutely made the jump feel like a special, private excursion. Out of the Blue was DEFINITELY worth the two-hour commute from Denver - which was filled with gorgeous scenery and easy to drive. The view was topped off when our pilot took us over the Royal Gorge before we jumped out at 11,500 feet. I found myself giggling in excitement as my instructor took us on spiral turns under canopy, after an exhilarating 40 seconds of freefall, careening toward the earth at 120 mph. I could not have asked for a better first-time experience, and will be back just as soon as my bank account permits. I would HIGHLY recommend Out of the Blue for anyone looking to get a taste of true adrenaline!

I felt very safe at Out of the Blue. I had my first skydive with Marty and he clearly is an expert. All the staff there were so nice and friendly. Even though it was over 100 degrees today, they got us up safely and were so enthusiastic!

3 of us jumped on 5/20/2012I was planning on proposing to my gf after our first jump. Kendra, the owner, was extremely friendly, timely with her responses, and worked very hard to accommodate my requests. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Kendra and staff. We were signed in and immediately began suiting up. We were then met by our instructors who were both a lot of fun and very entertaining. They both enjoy what they do and that made our experience incredible. Brian and JVH were the two instructors there. The plane was a tight fit, but we flew over the Royal Gorge and got to see the skycoaster and suspension bridge from the air which was incredible. The jump was amazing! I landed first followed by the videographer. My gf landed and I proposed. She said yes! The weather was beautiful the mountains in the backgrounds made for incredible pictures! One of the best experiences of my life as well as the perfect proposal for my fiancee. I was trying to decide between Mile-Hi and Out of the Blue, but I ultimately chose Out of the Blue due to their prices and the fact they were not a tandem factory. I had a good feeling about them before I went, but they exceeded my every expectation. If I do come back to Colorado, I will be coming back to jump with them. Fantastic group of people who made this trip that much more incredible. They recommended us to go to the Royal Gorge after we went Skydiving and at the end of the day were pretty much responsible for one of the best and most beautiful days in our lives.
