palisade sunday market

It's a pretty cute market. Lots of the same stuff, worth a stroll but not much to beyond 20 minutes. Nice folks and cute downtown.

My family looks forward to coming out to the Sunday Farmers' Market every year in late summer to catch the harvest. They have way more than just farm goods on sale. There's beef jerky, kettle corn, music and crafts. Also several food carts including the awesome chili. Most of the stores and cafes on the adjoining streets are open too. Nice laid back atmosphere in a small town to enjoy.

Great market! It has grown since last year. It was my birthday so we took the carriage ride which was $5 a person. Everyone enjoyed it. The market prices are reasonable and the selection is good. It is a nice to take a break from wine tasting and do some people watching.

Absolutely one of the best farmer's markets I've been to. Great local produce, interesting artisan booths, and food! Get there early, as some of the more popular produce goes early. A great slice of Americana!

I love farmers' markets and try to catch one whenever I travel and this one was pleasing!! It is a little early in the season for too much fresh produce but I had the choice of 5 different types of cherries from very sweet to very tart at good prices along with squash, garlic, beans and the like. Along with that were vendors with handmade wares from knitting to jewelry to carving to metal work of all kinds but what struck me the most was how homey and friendly the atmosphere was. Not only did everyone say hello, but no vendors were pushy, they really did seem more interested in us as people and in sharing their craft than pushing a sale. We did buy...and they were appreciative. Lots of dogs with well behaved owners :-) and parents with charming children!! Today there was live music from a woman who nailed Joanie Mitchell, made our day!

This was a typical small town street market featuring local crafts, farm good and food carts. It provides an interesting break from touring the wineries but nothing special

We came here for peaches and had great success. It is just a one-block market, so not a lot of variety. The produce is all local and fresh. There are also some handmade goods and honey. I would definitely come back.

Great vendors!! This made me want to move down here so I could get this every Sunday!! I had some if the best tomatoes I have ever eaten here. I was blown away at how helpful the vendors were. Everyone was so cheery

Palisade's Sunday Market is very all American. Great food and lots of fresh local vegies available for purchase. There is frequently live music and it's an extremely friendly atmosphere.
