My favorite brewery in Golden, and it is not close. The tasting room is large with high tables, regular tables and a bar, with additional outdoor seating in the front. This is a great place to join up with friends and socialize over a great brew, as it was intended to. No loud music, no televisions, just beer and friends. There is no food served but rotating food trucks are common to satisfy your hunger-- check their facebook page for updates on which truck will be there on your visit. There are no free 4 beers like other breweries, but you can always ask for a small taste of any beer, but all the beers here are great. The bartenders are friendly and the service is always excellent. My only complaint is that there are no typical session beers; many of the beers are greater than 6% ABV, so remember the high alcohol levels and pace yourself!Parking can be an issue, and I have had to park on Washington Ave a few times for a short walk. (Well, there is plenty of parking, but the majority of the parking is reserved for the nearby fitness center and 7-11; I'm not sure how/if these reserved parking spaces are enforced.)Their saisons are top-notch, too!

This place has a good number of great beers, some of them award winners, and the ambience of the taproom is absolutely delightful...windows all around overlooking the foothills and a nice outdoor seating area for pretty days (plentiful pretty days in Golden). The bartenders are extremely pleasant (this was our third visit as "out-of-state visitors" and each time was equally pleasant). We especially liked their stout and their IPA, but the other beers we tried were equally notable. This will be a regular stop for us. (Oh, and there is almost always a food truck or you can bring in your own snacks).

This is not a restaurant, they only serve beer. But the beer is worth the trip out here! It's a little odd, it being in a shopping mall, but they have done a great job with the place. The inside is very modern without being pretentious and they have a sunny patio. The bartenders are friendly and there is a nice selection of beers to try.
