The trailhead is only 2 minutes from golden gate/ hwy. 93 interchange in Golden. The hike is a easy to moderate 2 hour, 4 mile loop with a great vista of golden and denver on top. Small stream at bottom which is perfect for dogs to get a drink after the hike. No bikes too which is unusual and nice for a close to denver hike.

I had some time and wanted to get some exercise and fresh air and found the trail information on the web. The trailhead has a decent amount of parking and vault toilets. The trails themselves offer beautiful views of the surrounding Mountains, the Coors plant, and the Metro Denver area. I hiked the Cedar Gulch Trail which took me to the Mount Galbraith trail. There is some elevation gain which helped for cardio exercise and there is some terraced natural rock steps along the way. This is a great place to take a short day hike.
