We've gone here for Applefest every year for the past 5 years, and we love it every time. The food is the best thing to go for. They have everything. We always grab 3 or 4 pies, before we leave. Great for kids, they have play areas, games, and other activities for a small cost. My son loves the hay ride down to the pumpkin patch. The pumpkins are a little expensive, but it's worth it, sometimes you get lucky and get a huge one! Or two. ;)

I cannot have enough of the delicious lunch at the apple orchard. My favorite is the scarecrow soup with their chicken salad croissant and an apple dumpling! Sooo good. By far the best lunch in fort dodge.

This place has been around for decades. They continually invest in growing their operations and offerings. It is a bit expensive compared to others, but the quality is also above the competition.

We just held our class reunion there. The people were all incredibly accommodating and the meal was wonderful. The shops are well stocked. Great atmosphere.

I grew up about 25 miles from this place. It has been great for the past 40 years. In recent years they have invested in improving the customer experience adding kid-friendly attractions. They have a nice gift shop and kind and courteous staff. Their stuff is a little more expensive than most, but it's top quality.

They offer great food and is a very family friendly business. Fall is the best time to visit the orchard. They have a large variety of apples. Also have a great gift store.

This is a fantastic place for people of ALL AGES! They have apples of many varieties and you can taste them to decide which you may want to purchase. They have a cafe that serves delicious food - but it gets busy so come early! They have an upstairs gift shop (not handicap accessible) that has such unique and seasonal items. In the fall they offer wagon rides out to their pumpkin patch where you can choose your own pumpkin. And they've added an incredible children's play area! The children's area has a snack area and places to rest under shade while the kiddies play. The games are throwbacks to the Good Ol' Days. It's fun just to watch kids play in a natural way, without computers, etc.! I go here twice every fall - once with my Red Hat group for lunch and shopping, and once with my hubby to choose the apples we'll freeze for the winter. I highly recommend that you make a trip to The Community Orchard!

We have taken our kids here every fall and they love it. Our kids are now 6, 8 & 12 and they have loved coming here every fall to get pumpkins since they were babies. They have a fun play area the kids love with a corn pool, pedal cars, slides, a giant bounce pillow, horse tire swings, they can race in giant plastic circles that roll, they have goats the kida can feed. It really is a blast. On some weekends in the fall they have hay rides to the pumpkin patch, bands, games & a haunted house. There is also a gift shop & a place to get treats. My kids have also gone on field trips there for school to learn all about the apple part of it. We always have fun when we go here.
