Wonderful Ski Resort in the Mississippi Valley. Great for families, kids ski free this year with a paid adult. Pricing is very reasonable compared to other area hills. Two chairlifts and a new tubing area. Coffee Mill offers lessons with very competent instructors at a reasonable rate. The new Snowmakers Lounge has Surly on tap! along with other regional craft bottled beer. Never seen wine in a can before, very tasty! The Coffee Mill Cafe offers a good choice for lunch, homemade soups and chili, pizza, and daily specials. Had a Greek Gyro last weekend! A dedicated staff keeps the fun rolling in a safe environment. Keep this local treasure open!

My daughter and I set out to ski smaller ski areas in the upper mid-west and loved Coffee Mill. A great mix of easier to very difficult runs. Skied at night and it was well lit. Prices are good and we will ski here again.

We had a group of 10 who have not been skiing since we were all in middle school (20+ yrs), so we all signed up for the 50 minute ski lesson or snow board lesson. Can I tell you our instructor was AWESOME! She taught us the important pizza and french fry moves! Well after the instruction time, we were all (well most of us..lol) were able to get off of the bunny hills and really enjoy the slopes. It also helped that we had fresh powder from the morning snow! I would definitely come back again! Oh and there is lots of food and a bar!

I did ski there and enjoyed it. Now I watch the grandchildren and the lodge is great. No place to by food and no bar however.

I can't say I am impressed with Coffee Mill? It's ok but not open very much last season. Sending out letters via email asking for donations to cover their expenses due to a warm winter ? Kinda not cool. Kinda feel like we too got jipped by mother nature as season ticket holders too....but to ask for donations when you own prime real estate that should be long paid for by now just seems silly? $50 extra to rent a locker per year is ridiculous too . Aprreciating the customer base seems to have went over someone's head here.
