north shore scenic cruises

2 1/2 hour boat trip for a very reasonable price. It was great to see the North Shore from the Lake view, and not just the road view. The crew gave many interesting facts about the area. We very much enjoyed this cruise and would recommend it.

My family really enjoyed this cruise on Lake Superior. It's such a different perspective from what you see from the land! I was able to take pictures of Split Rock Lighthouse that rival professional images I have seen for sale. The crew is very knowledgeable about all the cool things one can find along the coastline, including the stories behind several shipwrecks in the area. Another family member just went on a moonlight cruise with North Shore Scenic Cruises and had a great time. I'm so jealous!!

I highly recommend this cruise. Depending on the day of the week, you can go to either Split Rock Lighthouse or Palisade Head. Last year, my husband had a broken leg and couldn't walk. So we thought the cruise to Palisade Head would be a great way to see the sights without a lot of walking. We really enjoyed it. The scenery was beautiful and the tour guides provided great information about the geography and history of the area. When we were back in the area this year the kids asked to do the cruise again. We went to Split Rock and had a great time. They've made improvements to the boat like new tables and windows. It's a nice touch. When we got Split Rock they gave us the time to take a nice picture with the Lighthouse in the background. On the way back, they let the boys "steer" the boat. Overall a very fun time.

I've been coming up to the north shore all my life and I think I've done everything there is to do. Yesterday I went on the Split a Rock cruise with North Shore Scenic Cruises. What an amazing trip. It is so beautiful to see the shoreline from the water. And the guys working on the boat are so personable and knowledgable. We really enjoyed our cruise. But bring warm clothes because it doesn't matter what the weather is inland, it is always cooler ON that lake!!!
