Nice home built in 1887 by Minnesota's 14th Governor John Lind.

The Lind House is a very nice older home that goes back over a century. John Lind was the only Governor of Minnesota who came from New Ulm. The house is open to visitors during working hours and you can stop for a peek but I do not think there are any tours. The local United Way keeps its offices there. It is a wonderful old home and can be rented for small parties. It's located pretty much right smack in the middle of town, just one block off the main downtown intersection and kitty corner from our court house.
