Very nice course, extremely well maintained. All the staff with the course are very nice, friendly and helpful.

I have played this course a few times and am always impressed with the shape of the course. Always well manicured and a challenging adventure. A great layout with fast greens and many doglegs right. It is a shotmaker's course. Staff is great and the food is just as good. I would make this a must play if you are an avid golfer.

This review is for the golf course only. I drove to The Falls from Houston with some friends (1 1/2 hours from Houston) for a day of golf. As others reviewers have said, the place is remote. There are few amenities nearby. But the remote location is part of what makes The Falls so appealing. The golf course is in excellent shape. A Jay Riviere/Dave Marr design, the course is beautiful, well-maintained, and has some very distinctive holes. Most of all, it is all you can handle. The greens are beautiful . . . and slick. Some of the greens have such undulation that they are almost impossible to play from certain locations on the greens. Local knowledge (or playing here more than occasionally) would be a huge plus. For the uninitiated, there are a number of blind tee shots. Most all holes are lines with a thick treeline. And there are some very distinctive holes that you'll remember long after your round is over. Wildlife wanders freely through the property. I highly recommend the course. And on Mondays, everyone plays for $49 (including range balls) . . . they call it "Senior Mondays", because $49 is the regular Seniors green fee. Mondays, it is the Everybody Rate. Beautiful oaks and a fair bit of water. Nice layout with only a few houses among the trees. Plays fast at this time of year. No longer a Troon course so not sure where this will lead them. Need to pay attention to details like towels on ball cleaners and in particular having food and beverage service/snack bar open for paying customers. Will lose players because of this.

The Falls golf course is a challenging but beautiful course. Everyone in the club house is friendly and helpful. The driving range, practice chipping area and putting green are nicely kept with plenty of range balls to practice with. You will see many deer along the course too. Today 17 passed in front of us on the #11 tee box.

Be sure to bring plenty of balls, this is a very challenging course for mid to high handicappers. Conditions were great and the greens were lightning fast. It's a bit off the beaten path but well worth the drive. I highly recommend!!

The falls is a wonderful place to go .. They have a awesome golf corse water park and resturant. Anyone who wants to enjoy golf and have a relaxing time should check out the falls

The Falls Golf Club is can be a challenge to find, but very well worth it. Well kept grounds, and a course which is more challenging than many prestigious circuits.

Three guys from Houston played here while the ladies went shopping in Round Top. The guys liked the course and found it wasn't as hard as they were led to believe. They commented that they liked the scenery too.

Well out of the way but worth the trip should you enjoy and good round of gold and good food. Try it out.
