lake hopatcong cruises

I took this cruise during the first week it was in service. It was a beautiful day, and for $10 I got a seat at a table on the upper deck, an hour-long cruise on the lake and hors d'oeuvres. Drinks were pricy and not that great, but table side service was included. It would have been nice if there was a little narration as to some of the features of the lake.

Miss Lotta is a new lake cruise boat offering sightseeing and lunch/dinner cruises. We went as part of our retirees group as we are always looking for new fun stuff to do.Well this was fun, and relaxing, and pretty, I could go on and on. The boat was completely rebuilt and looks brand new, crew was friendly and efficient, food was better than expected. Drinks at the bar are expensive however.Lake Hopatcong is a hidden gem of New Jersey! Less than 35 minutes from NYC and a picture of rural beauty. The trees are full of fall colors, the water a beautiful dark blue, and blue skies above, wonderful day!
