I first enjoyed this property when it was a dairy farm. I earned a farming Scout merit badge here 47 years ago. Whoa! Time flies huh?Now I walk my dog, and pedal bike laps around the park. All ages can enjoy this beautiful property. The play & spray ground for kids, a perfect walkway for runners, bike riders, & skating, basketball, hockey, bird watching, are just a part of the activities here. Plus it's good to see various wildlife too.One of many great parks in Monmouth County.Enjoy! ------ Ken

I live nearby and love to walk around the park. Its peaceful, cant tell you how many times a deer ran by me! And in the summer its great for families, they have a water park for the kids, picnic areas...alot to offer for a park.

They have a sprayground (playground with water) for little children in the summer, sport fields and courts for lacrosse, softball, and basketball, a nature trail with numbered bird houses for nature lovers, and even peeks of a river in the woods.

We went here with our 4 kids - ages 10, 7, 4, and 9 months. The park has a dry playground and a sprayground (various water sprayers and dumping buckets but no pools). The kids loved it! We started in the dry playground. There was a section with sand that was a big hit with the 4 year old. My husband and I sat on a blanket in the shade with the baby, while the other kids ran around. They were in the dry playground for about 2 hours. Then it was time for the water! Even the baby had a great time crawling around and playing with the water. The big kids loved it too. There were a lot of little kids and parents there. Has bathrooms and changing areas. Free admission. Our friends who live in NJ say they make the trip to come to this park once a month because their kids love it so much.

It has a sprayground (a water-enhanced playground) that should attract young children during hot summer days. It also has a nice about one mile paved trail that meanders through a nature area with numbered man-made bird nests followed by a section with views of a nearby brook. It also has the usual sport courts (for basketball and tennis) and fields (for lacrosse and softball).
