The chance to see beautiful rugs and blanket being woven before your eyes, including on a 100 year loom, makes this store an experience you won't forget. The owners were happy to talk about their craft and demonstrate how this tradition is carried on. Reasonable prices for weavings that take many hours to create.

It has taken me many years to finally make it to Chimayo, New Mexico and I wasn't disappointed. Trujillo's is a true gem. The people were so kind and took time to explain about the many looms, processes and more. I appreciate the time and work that are involved in the beautiful, well made pieces they produce and look forward to purchasing a larger piece. Thank you for keeping this art alive and sharing it.

Whenever we travel to Chimayo, we make sure to stop in at Trujillo's. You are treated like a long lost friend and not like just a customer. The weavings are of the highest quality. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the products. Should you not find something to your liking, they will gladly create a design that is unique for you.

Have visited twice and really love the place and especially the people. Kind courteous and respectful in the Hispanic tradition. On the first visit purchased a small but beautiful leather piece. On the second visit purchased a large Chimayo rug that was less than half finished and still on 100 year old loom. Beautiful and very well made. They will make rugs according to your desired color preferences and size.Wonderfully informative and absolutely no sales pressure. Not a fancy place but a truly authentic weaving shop.

This weaving shop stands on hwy 6 close to the Chimayo, NM, Santuario complex. You can buy products from many Indian artists here are reasonable prices. Navajo handmade kachinas, for instance, for $20. Cochiti artist produced storytelling for $59 and up, depending on size. Trujillos, who run it, are prize winning artists themselves. You can watch them weave, which is fun. They have hundreds of blankets, coasters, purses, vests, etc. all for reasonable prices for quality products. I bought the place out.
