While Devil's Tower is a small park, the visitor center does a good job of having exhibits, talks about the areas, and answering visitor's questions about the area. One flight down the stairs is also where the restrooms are.The most interesting thing I found at the visitors center was some of the artwork they had there. The picture of the bear climbing Devil's Tower was intriguing.

We visited the Devil's Tower National Monument, walked around it, and then visited the Visitor Center there. It is a very impressive site. It was abnormal and much bigger than expected! The information at the Visitor Center was very interesting.I would bring people back there to visit it again, everyone should see this atleast once.

Devils Tower is a national monument. I've learnt that "Devils" is spelt without an apostrophe. You don't see this sort of landscape everyday. Worth visiting. Individual admission fee is $5.

Whether you go for the native lore, the geological mystery, or the rare beauty, the first national monument of the U S is definitely an impressive visit. This was an awesome visitor center, and the gal working was the most friendly and pleasant person we met on our trip. We did the walk around the monument, saw columns that have been shed, there were four people climbing it when we were there, there are great interpretive plaques and stunning views all the way around. Bring watermifmyoumgo, we were glad that we did. Whatever is it, you have to respect that it has played an important part in history and it's interesting that scientists can't explain it's formation. If we ever lose our sense of wonder and respect for mother nature, just go see the Tower.

This visitors Center was incredibly impressive. Just across the state line it was a real surprise. The information and history available was incredible. The personnel were extremely helpful. I was interested in doing a wagon train experience next summer and she looked it up,and printed the info for me. The art work outside stunning. Wyoming impressed me like I thought it never had before. This is just about 30 +/- miles from Devils Tower. I encourage you to see it.

I'm not sure why they are charging people to go and see this exhibit. I agree that it's an interestingly shaped rock but that's where the interest stopped. You can see see it from far away and keep driving to your next destination and not regret not going there!

I never saw the movie, but my husband was determined to get to Devil's Tower. What an unbelievably beautiful place. When you first get to the Visitors Center and head up the hill it seems like it's all uphill but once you just get past the initial upward hike, you can take the pathway (about a 45 minute walk all the way around) and it's not difficult. Just breathtaking to see Wyoming from this angle. We were able to spot a few climbers and spend some time sitting on the benches overlooking God's beauty. I definitely would come here again if we had people visiting. Just make sure you have some coolers packed with food. Lots of long roads without any gas stations or restaurants. Be prepared especially if you have young children. Absolutely loved Devil's Tower.

There is not much inside. But since you are there you should get in and take a look.Few souvenirs to be bought plus historical info on the walls, that's it.Get out of the visitor center and take a hike!

Need to go here and get the information on how this monolith remained behind after the landscape was eroded away, the history for the native Americans, the climbers, and the environment.

Staff is very knowledgeable about the monument and the surrounding area. They know the various road conditions and alternate ways of getting to Rapid City.

typical national monument visitor center informative. Avoid the crowds and do not visit first week in august because of the motorcycle rally.

The visitors center has quite a lot of information and a small gift shop..the employees were very friendly.

Loved the legends and the scenery. We took our elderly mother with us who is 79 and the path to the first overlook is paved, which made walking easier. The incline was not steep and with a few stops to rest we made it just fine. Wheelchair accessible.

Devil's Tower is America's first national monument, and it's a great one! This is a very unique site, and a very underrated one in my opinion. If you're in the area you have got to go!

Love going to Devil's tower - great Wyoming history and good hike around the monument - not what you'd expect
