You'll need good walking shoes to climb the many steps up to this lookout spot. It had a great 360 degree view of the area. We enjoyed praying up there. Another couple looked like they were enjoying a picnic.

The local golf pro is the person who climbs this mountain 8 -10 times a day but it is every day of the week not just a few days. Talk about stamina! Here he is.This is the best place to see a view of the whole valley

We couldn't find it. We drove all around where it was supposed to be and couldn't find anything that wasn't private property. No signs on Sharp Rd about it. So, I would ask a local exactly how to get there.

Short little hike up stairs to see a great view of Wimberley. Best part was that we went in the morning and saw many deer on the way. Kind of cool. Hey, it's free!

I will not rate this as a must-see attraction in Wimberley, but it was not so bad either. We went early in the day, but we've heard the sunset is pretty from there... Its a little bit of a hike, but great when you reach up... gives you a 360 view of this lovely quaint city

That pictured is prayer mountain near 33 la toya. Climb up the steps for a view if the area. We ran into a local who often jogs up and down up to 16 times 1-2x a week. Wow.

Short hike up paved stairs. Nice view at top. Just takes a few minutes. Even young kids can make it.

The restaurant was a wonderful destination but has been closed for several years. The review on this page for Lookout Mountain, showing 220 steps is actually a description of Mount Baldy which is on La Toya, off of 2325 just North of Emily Ann Theatre.

Property is being sold and developed. Blocked by gates and no trespassing signs. Not accessible and overgrown with brush.

Beautiful old stone steps are fun to hike up. Fantastic view from the top. Absolutely free! Found a cave 3/4 of the way to the top. Go enjoy this site, you won't be sorry!
