museum of the americas

This extensive collection comes from a private collection of artifacts from North, Central and South American tribes. Although it may seem small it is jam packed with lots of articafts. (Also good for kids!) The people running the museum are very friendly and have lots of information about the exhibit. It is free of charge and I would recommend all who pass through Weatherford to stop by (even if it is just for 10 minutes!)
