Fantastic 5K trail in Myers Park. A lot of running events happen here...including ColorMeRad and ColorRun. Accessibility to this park is a bit challenging, but once you get there it is quaint and blissful.

This is a beautiful location to visit and relax or attend an event. They have an animal barn and an arena building that allow rodeos, horse shows, dog shows, etc. easily. There is a beautiful lodge building to hold weddings or other events with a gazebo overlooking a small lake. Wide open spaces allow you to wander around and become one with nature or walk through trees, gardens or visit a staged production. Visit and make yourself simple living without working at it.

I have performed at a number of weddings here as a DJ. Reception hall is spacious and clean. Grooms and Brides rooms are simple, but clean (you won't find any couches and flat screen TVs here fellas.. Outdoor gazebo is nice for pics, etc... but can get VERY windy! Management/staff at this place will do the bare minimum to help you. So, if you are on a budget, are willing to pick up your own trash, and entirely coordinate your own wedding/special event, this place might be for you. This is PURELY a space rental from what I've seen and heard. You even have to pull teeth to get one of the staff to unlock the door on time. When you call and say, "It's 3 pm and all the door's are locked. We booked this venue from 3 pm- 11 pm!" A couple kids pull up 10 minutes later in a pick up truck, unlock the door, then without a word, leave and go back to whatever it was they were doing before. 1899 Farmhouse in Princeton is much nicer for around the same amount of dough.

the venue had an over zelous prosper police officer show up and threaten anyone who drank alcohol at the reception with a DWI. He said anyone that has even a beer will be given a sobriety test if they drive. It really soured the guests at the reception. The venue did not disclose they would pay an officer to come in and threaten us.

This is the location for most all Collin County Ag seminars and expos. The Expo barn is large enough for many exhibitors and well lighted and appointed. The assembly building is comfortable and holds many for demonstrations, seminars and luncheons. The kitchen and rest room areas are well done and easily accessible. Outside is a pond for Ag pond demonstrations. The test gardens are tended by Master Gardeners and display area vegetable products. The whole place is well suited for it's intended purpose. There is also plenty of paved parking.

I have attended a number of agricultural, farming, & ranching events over the years. The facilities are accomodating and appropriate for the venue. Most of the events have been sponsored by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service, most recently on dealing with feral hogs. Quite illuminating.

Wonderful test gardens. Great venue for garden shows or meetings. We really enjoyed walking around and looking at the beautiful scenery.

Owned by Collin County, it's a great venue for weddings, large special events (we had a church supper for 500+), family reunions, etc. The staff are easy to work with and very accommodating.

The gardens are a perennial research garden maintained by the Collin County Master Gardeners. This is a great location for photos and to learn what plants grow well in this country. There is a lovely farm museum featuring great displays with antique equipment. There is a great reception area for private events along with a perfect spot for beautiful weddings. Go visit.
