llano county historical museum

The museum displays a range of interesting geological and cultural history items telling the story of the experiences and hardships facing settles of the Texas hill country. The displays themselves tell a story, our docent added her and her family's history to bring historical Llano to life.The museum holds an old soda bar, a telephone switchboard, and farm and ranch paraphernalia, each along with descriptive text. One display room was devoted to the geology of the Llano uplift.
