You're gonna love this place. It has all the classics you fed quarter after quarter in to. I visited Pinballz with my 17 year old and it was a lot of fun for both of us (he schooled me on almost everything I used to be good at ... Donkey Kong, Defender, even Qbert). It's a good place for family. The food is solid and there's a bar with craft beers for those who enjoy that (like me).Good times all around.

After visiting the original Pinballz Arcade in far north Austin, we lamented the fact there was nothing like that near us in way South Austin. Well, as luck would have it, the folks of Pinballz recognized this area as a burgeoning growth corridor and did something about that. They bought an old castle-style truck stop off I-35N in Buda and Pinballz Kingdom was born. We've been there a couple of times and have seen improvements with each visit. At some point, they will be adding laser tag and miniature golf from what I understand, but for now it's full of old and new arcade games, an outdoor stage for live music, a large dining area that serves wood-fire pizzas with a bar area both inside and outside. There is also at least one banquet room available for parties, maybe two. They've recently added picnic tables to their outdoor bar area for additional seating with a few free games scattered about. Unlike their original location, which doesn't sell beer, you can grab a drink and play games to your hearts content. We haven't dined here yet, but we've certainly wiled away the hours playing pinball and that ridiculously addictive Wizard of Oz game. It can be difficult to find help in the arcade area when you need it, the skeeball machines area fairly terrible and the prizes you can redeem coupons for aren't as interesting or as varied as their original location but overall, a fun way to spend an afternoon or evening.

We have finally managed to visit this business. It opened about 3-4 months ago in Buda, TX. It is owned by the same people who have one like it in Austin, TX (atleast, that is my understanding).I would say that it is a large old school type arcade with lots of pinball machines and old school other arcade games. They even offer and outdoor lazer tag on Saturdays and Sundays. The food was okay to good. We had a minor hiccup in that they forgot to leave the onions off one of our burgers. The beer menu is fairly diverse but I was personally disappointed in the lack sturdy dark ales and reds. I was really hoping they would have a fair choice of those. We had the following: Hot Wings, Portobello Mushrooms, Mushroom Burger, Fish and Chips, and Caesar Salad. I thought the Caesar Salad was tasty but was mostly stems and very little real lettuce. The flavor to the hot wings was nice and tasty but not necessarily hot. I thought the portion size of fish on the Fish and Chips was small for the price but they were nicely batteredand cooked well. They converted an old business into this new attraction and it does have a slightly used feel to it still. I took a quick peek out in the garden and can only wish they would consider adding a dart board. It did have some Corn Hole boards for that game.
