On a recent visit to Mississippi to see family, we had the pleasure of going to Geyser Falls Water Park in Choctaw, MS. We went on a Tuesday. The place was very clean. There was a plentiful amount of shade trees and chairs. the water slides were not crowded and the kids were able to go down the rides of choice many times. Admission there is 34.00 and is well worth it. We all had a great time.

We have visited Geyser Falls several times this summer and enjoyed every visit. The crowds on weekdays are small, and my teens enjoyed the short lines at the slides. The slides were fun for all in my family, teens and adults. On weekends the crowds are much larger. The service at the food counters and restaurant is slow, so when the crowds get large the wait for food can take up to an hour. Management does a poor job of enforcing the rule about non customers sitting at tables next to the food counters. The rule is 20 minutes, but it can take longer just to get your food. Then you have people sitting at tables while others in their group change in the bathrooms. The service at the restaurant was so bad that we will never go back in there, plus you are not allowed to take food from the restaurant into the park.

We got a great package thru Pearl River Resort. Included 2 nights at Silver Star hotel, tickets to park for 2 days and 4 meals each day at Alfo's at the water park. For the package for 4 tax included was $301.10. I loved the beach! After riding all the slides it was nice to relax. We had a 5 year old and 15 year old with us and they both loved it. The only downside was the line to get food. 45 minutes.

I've been to geyser falls 3 times...twice when I was younger. The environment is kind of rundown now. I figured they would of had new and exciting things. A group of us went and when we first got there to pay for tickets.. We weren't even greeted nicely we walked up to a blank stare that rudely asked "are you ready yet?" Then the girl asked for my little cousins height and he was a cm shorter than the 48 in marker they had... But she still made us pay for an adult ticket... He's only 6!!!! Then, we went to rent a cabana, and they were full so we asked if there is another place to go and rent one she says yes, but when we asked where? she said "oh idk"... You've got to be kidding me. We finally got our cabana.. Now time to ride finally! Waited in line a short amt of time, but I'll tell you the attendants ARE NOT friendly. They had attitudes and were rude. One of them said to a couple that was waiting to go down the slide "how hard is it to get in a tube & cross your ankles?" (Note:this was a heavier set couple) the woman just looked and her mouth dropped. By the time me and my cousin rode it again it was a shift change for the attendants. It was 2 pm and we had ridden all day. We got to the top and the attendant wouldn't let my cousin go down the hurricane... I told the attendant we paid for An adult and that he was able to ride anything. She refused and made us go all the way back down through the line, which my cousin fell going down the steps because he was ran over by a tube. In tears...we got to the bottom a shift leader or manager told us we could get a refund and then directed us to another person and when that person said hold on and let me direct you to another... We finally said "look. We came here to have fun, this is taking our day away from us... Can we just finish this once we leave at 6?" & the woman said "I can't because that's closing time for us so it'll be better taken care of now." We didn't want to deal with this staff so we just went on about our business. Let's just say... I won't be going back.. I can't stand my cousin's day being crushed like that.

I live in Philadelphia, MS and only recently visited Geyser Falls for the first time. It was awesome!! Extremly clean and very well organized. There is no place close to Philadelphia or surranding areas for young kids to go and have fun, but this is diffently one of a kind. Geyser Falls was like going to Six Flags Water Park, but in a very small town. I was very impressed and now I see why everyone goes there all the time. Very relaxing. They have lots of different attractions for small children and even adults. THIS is ONE place you will not be disappointed in, its worth the trip to Philadelphia, MS. You will be amazed......

A feel like a lot of people are not aware of this fantastic water park unless they are more local. The experience here was fun-filled. There were two negatives, but they did not affect our enjoyment of the park at all. We arrived at the beginning of the day, and there was a lot of debris in the bottom of the pools even at the park opening. It was a holiday weekend, but would have expected them to be cleaner at the start of the day. The only other problem was that it did seem to take a bit too long to receive food that was ordered from the Cabana we rented.

This was a fun place to spend the day not far from home. The water park had so many attractions that we never got bored. If you plan on going several times you may as well buy a season pass because its quite expensive.Forewarning: if you plan on sneaking some water and snacks in , you will just be embarrassed to have the staff make you take it back to your car. They check your bag at the entrance gate. So that means you have to buy their expensive food and drinks. The food is greasy and low quality. I will take mine in a cooler next time and eat in the car. However we did enjoy the Dippin Dots .Changing area: you have to use the bathroom which the floor was wet with (pee) ? Otherwise you can change on the long bench in front of everyone. (Not sure why they didn't do half stalls with a half door for privacy). We loved having the option of renting a small locker for cc and keys. They have a lot of staff watching the kiddos which I appreciated. Best time to go? Midweek. Wasn't very crowded. Overall it was a fun place to take my family and we will go back again before school starts.

We took our sons 13 and 11 to the park for the day and they had a blast. We rented a cabana and it was money well spent. We had our own server and shade with a TV, great place to have lunch a get out of the sun for awhile. We will definitely visit again!

I was a bit surprised to find a waterpark of this size in such a small town. But it was clean, no problem getting a storage locker and the rides are lots of fun!

Very lovely water park , kid friendly , adult friendly , get there as early as possible to avoid crowds and bring your own towels because the towel rental is costly . Even when crowded it was a very controlled crowd not rowdy . Worth a visit , even my 74 year old mother as well as my 6 year old grandson had a blast !

Ive been to a few waterparks and this is one of the best. The only problem I had was staff. They seemed lazy and not so friendly. Its a bunch of kids that like to talk to each other instead of doing there jobs. The wait for the water slides would have been less if they just would have paid attention to what their job is. Other than that it was good. We went on a Saturday and the crowd wasnt bad at all. Very clean and lots of tubes. They check the wave pool every 45 min. The lockers were very small(even the large ones). The attractions were very fun and we had a great time. I wish we lives closer and could go more often.

I loved the Creaky Leaky Water Factory! I also loved the wave pool, the beach, the speed slides, and the tube slides. My favorite part was the backsplash! Great waterpark!

We went here last summer in the middle of the week and had a great time. It wasn't crowded at all and lines were very short for all the rides we went on.It did start raining in the afternoon and they ended up shutting the entire park down instead of waiting until the storm passed which was not cool. They are also only open until 5 which seems like a very early time to close.

We always get there early and find an umbrella and chairs on the beach side. During the week is the best time to go. If you live close ( we live 45 minutes away) the season pass is the way to go. Pack a lunch and eat a picnic outside the gates.

My family paid $38.00 per person to get in and it's only open from 11:00 to 5:00. For this price, the hours should be longer! Also the food is way overpriced for what you get and there aren't enough workers to fill orders in a timely manner.
