    This is the place to stop to get brochures and to learn about the area. There are wonderful displays relating to blues singers and Mardi Gras costumes. The staff is exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, Ask to see the scrapbook they have about Katrina. The before and after pictures will amaze you. Bay St. Louis is very near ground zero for Katrina so the damage done to the community was just terrible. The resilience of the locals ist ruly astounding. Well worth your time!

    Loved the Mardi Gras costumes and the Alice Mosely folk art museum. My favorite Alice Mosely painting was "Miss Kitty from the City".

    They gave us $40 Magnolia Money to use at local shops and restaurants! It was also interesting seeing the displayed Mardi Gras costumes and hearing about how a major movie was made there with Robert Redford and Natalie Wood.

    My wife use to travel to BSL to visit her grandmother and this is the Train Station where they would meet and she would then spend her summers in BSL. It has been restored and is beautiful.

    I went with a tour group and we spent the day in Ocean Springs. This was our first and last stop and it was a beautiful train depot that had been turned into a visitor center that everyone enjoyed going. They had several items in there that was prevalent to the region and the woman at the counter was very nice.I bought several items from the Alice Mosley Folk Art Museum which I treasure.

    This historic building is charming. We also visited the Alice Mosley Folk Art and Antique Museum upstairs. We enjoyed learning about Alice and seeing her works of art. Wish I could have met her!

    We are in BSL for a few months on our way to Vermont. The Depot was on our self-biking tour. It is a quasi visitor center with a museum of a local artist upstairs. There are several great Mardi Gras costumes that I marveled at. You can see up close and personal the detailed work and labor of love that went into each piece. The volunteer staff was extrememly helpful and very knowledgable about the area. She also shared some horrifc stories and pictures of The Hurricane...Katrina. She also shared some Mardi Gras beads with us!! The location is a former depot and the tracks are right out the back door so watch your toddlers. If you love trains, stay long enough and you will see one rolling through. :>}

    This is a fun place for the kids they loved seeing the trains pass so close and they have fun activity's like the summer solstice and fairy pageant. They also have a farmers market every week. The train Depot adds charm to old town Bay St Louis. They also have a fish pond and dog park. Very much worth the visit.

    The county visitor center is here. The ground floor of this beautifully restored train depot has rotating displays. The current display is of Mardi Gras parade costumes. They're amazing, and the admission price is right... free.The Alice Moseley art museum is on the second floor, and is a must-see.
