Enjoyed going here as machines are not jammed so close together that you cannot move! The management does overhead announcements and talks with the patrons about what is going on in the casino and recent winners. The waitresses here just seemed good at their job. Great interaction and quick turnaround when ordering drinks. Remember they are a waitress and not mixologist! Some guy next to me took over a minute to describe the drink and cussed out the waitress when she said the bartender could not make the drink.. Overall good time, went several times while we were in Waveland.

We decided to try our hand at slots at the Hollywood. When we walked in I seen what I thought was Christmas decorations. I was wondering why they were still up. But when I got closer I realized it was Mardi Gras decorations with a Mardi Gras tree, never knew they had Mardi Gras trees! We got the players card and the promotion was 25 times the points. I lost money as usual my wife was up but kept playing and as usual lost money in the end.

After going here since the day Casino Magic opened its doors. and spending more than 63,000 dollars in the past ten years between my husband and myself, still cant get a room for New Years Eve even with my Producer Card.

Came down for a 5 day gambling trip and had a great time! Our Host Lydonial was absolutely FANTASTIC from check in to checkout. We became good friends with all the Pit Bosses and Supervisors who are all very friendly and accommodating. We are blackjack players and the crew of dealers are overall some of the best dealers we have played with. The dealers here do know perfect basic strategy and once they realize you are a skilled players will have the tendency to sometimes "play your hand"for you. We use a compositional based Basic Strategy which sometimes deviates from typical Basic Strategy and we'd just have to nicely let then know to make sure they let us play the hand. This is not a "glam and glitz" house. We prefer the slower pace and relaxed attitude of casinos like this anyway. Took some side trips to the Vegas style places in Biloxi where glad to get back to our "home" casino each day.The crowd was definitely older...tons of walkers, wheelchairs, scooters, and canes. Don't expect "The Beautiful People" here.We played over 22 hours of Blackjack here and probably ran 3-4k through the slots. There were always open tables available with $5 and $10 6D and 1D H17. They only had one Double Deck game that unfortunately was $25 min and was also H17. The Silver Slipper which is only 25 minutes away has a $10 DD S17 game.We however had so much fun and enjoyed our interaction with the Pit Crews so much, we did the majority of our play there. The BEST double deck game along the entire coast is at Treasure Bay which we visited a couple times. Their game is DD S17 with $10 minimum and that place is also low key and small like a cruise ship casino.Even though we left about $2,500 with Hollywood, it was fun money well spent.Already planning our next junket!

stayed two nights on a weekend,,, loudest casino I have ever been in. hotel is ok, no safes in rooms, no card to use the elevator, anyone can go upstairs...safety. free drinks in casino about the size of a shot glass. no parking structure, very crowed buffet, didn't go in. went to silver slipper 10 miles away, very good buffet.

The staff is rude and their unethical, immoral business practice is something that should be investigated. Their blanket *disclaimer* simply omits them from any wrong doing, so they will get away with any discrimination and retalitory behavior.

I recently posted an alert for Seniors about the Slipper doing away with enticements for Seniors but now I can offer up a far better substitute-the Hollywood Casino in Bay St. Louis, MS. Hollywood offers a half price buffet for seniors on both Wednesday and Friday. Additionally, you can earn $5 free slot play by earning 50 points between 3 a.m. and 3 p.m., which is very easy to do. Slots seem looser than the Slippers also. My only complaint is the parking situation at Hollywood. There is no parking garage and finding a convenient space can be a challenge. Would be nice if there were more Handicap spaces and some protection from the weather. All things considered, I find Hollywood to be a great replacement for the Slipper, if you aren't inclined to go on to Biloxi!
