Small area of several items. Plane, tank and other types of equipment. There is a larger exhibit by the museums. Also as you drive thru the base you will see other items on display. Very interesting pieces.

OK, if your idea of a park is several pieces of surplus military equipment shoved together on a small piece of ground near one of the busiest intersections on the fort, well I guess you'll love it. If you're looking for "an area of open space provided for recreational use, in its natural or semi-natural state, or planted, and set aside for human enjoyment or for the protection of wildlife or natural habitats," then you're likely to be disappointed.Call it what it is - Fort Leonard Wood's attempt to show the public who happen to drive by that military from four services train there.

but we haven't been back. Good reminder that Fort Leonard Wood trains all of the military services on this post.

The park has a number of exhibits showing equipment from each military branch. Not huge, show allow just a few minutes to walk through.
