Visited here for the first time, and was quite impressed. We were greeted by the owner, and the staff helped us through the wine tastings, keeping us informed as to what we were drinking, how it was made, and how it compares to other wines. The prices were reasonable, $12-$19 a bottle, I bought a couple for the wife, and even bought one for myself, and I'm not a wine drinker! I found a oak aged dry red that I really liked.Well worth the visit!

We visited Oceana while winery touring in Michigan this summer and I was astounded by the taste of the wine they were creating. There was a wine simply called "Dry White" that tasted identical to a top-shelf Chardonnay. Even though the winery name was changed (wisely) to Oceana, the bottles still had the Tartan Hills lables on them. The winemaker happened to be in the tasting room and we had a long discussion on his work. This guy really knows his grapes and his chemistry and how to make wine. He said they were planning to re-name the wines also, and I agreed they deserve better names.Go if you are more interested in the wine than winery.

I've always enjoyed the wines from Oceana Winery (formerly Tartan Hill). The staff is also very personable.
