Great family fun! The ride was an hour long guided ride. We had two small children ages 3 and 4, plus a 13 year old. Everyone was happy and the little guys each got their own horse!

We've been riding with Rainbow Ranch for years. Always a good time. Staff is awesome. And love the kitties.

Great place for the whole family! Staff is friendly. Very kid friendly. Your guides are knowledgable. For any level of experience. They have horses geared for different levels. The horse ranch is also a deer farm. You will see deer along your ride. Price is reasonable. Would go back!!!

We recently visited with our young children, ages 2 & 5. The 2 year old was able to ride with my husband and our 5 year old rode her own pony right next to one of the guides. The staff did a great job with my husband, who had never ridden and was nervous, as well as with my 5 year old. I highly recommend the Rainbow Ranch!!

Great time with 7 and 10 year olds. Jenny our wrangler was great! The trail was beautiful with fields, forest, and sand. Can't wait to do it again!

We did the 1 hr. ride, which is long enough if you are not used to riding horses. Our guide went at a good pace. Our 5 yr. old was on a pony lead by the guide and my 9 yr. old, also on a pony, started off on a lead but once she became comfortable was able to ride on her own. This ranch is also a deer preserve, which meant we got to see several deer throughout or ride, including a white doe! The horses were very well behaved and well kept! I highly recommend the drive to this remote location for horseback riding – especially if this is your first horseback riding experience – they will take GREAT care of you!

Wonderful place for first time and experienced riders. Beautiful trails. Even my 4 year old rode herself.

My daughter and her friend loved their horses and 1 hr trail ride. Their guide was great! We greatly appreciated the expertise of the staff as they helped pick the right horses for our first-time horseback riding teens. Well kept beautiful horses and ponies; clean grounds! Great family fun when you're near this area! Highly recommended!

If you can pay the extra for a private tour do it we did! It makes the tour more personal and fun. Also don't forget your tour guide deserves a tip if he or she does a good job. We loved the girl we had and she made sure we had the best experience. We did the 2 hour tour lol and it was fun but after you are a little sore. Make sure when you get seated that they don't put your stirrups to high otherwise it gets uncomfortable. Overall amazing experience!

We went in August and at the last minute. Not only did they fit us in, but all 8 of us got to go in a group with even a 5 year old on his own horse. They had everyone trotting, the scenery was great, and overall a wonderful time.Unlike in the east - not so many restrictions - you could have very young kids on their own horse (I believe as little as 2 years old could ride their own horse with the trainer assisting) and we didn't have to wear any helmets. Also, the price was very reasonable compared to out east and other tourist areas. The staff was friendly and patient. When we go back to the area, we would definitely visit here again. I highly recommend this if you are in the area!

Two adults and two kids went for an hour long ride. Youngest child is autistic and the handler did a wonderful job with him. She even had us trotting which he enjoyed. A nice long ride with super friendly people. I gave a big tip to the girl because she was outstanding and our family got to go as a "group" without anyone else.Lot's of photos taken and good memories.

Rainbow Ranch was a great choice for a trail ride. They own the 100+ acres on which they ride, and the land is GORGEOUS. The horses we rode were well behaved. We paid a little extra to be a private group (just my sister, me, and a guide), rather than be put into a larger group. I think that was definitely worth the money. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. I also wanted an hour private lesson before the trail ride, which they were happy to accommodate. Unfortunately, the instructor didn't show up on time, so it was cut down to mini-lesson of about 20 minutes, which they did not charge me for. In the end, I was very happy with that. I do wish they had called my cell phone, even if I was on the way (if I had been running late, at the least the notice would have let me know I didn't need to rush). I wasn't interested in learning western saddle, and they were able to offer a bareback lesson, which I enjoyed (I've been riding english about 7 years). The trail rides were all in western saddle, which was comfortable. We arrived first thing in the morning for the earliest trail ride, and I was happy with that timing. The farm was quieter then, with only the staff tacking up the horses, and a few barn cats around. By the time we returned a couple hours later, there was a crowd of people hanging around, going out on the trail or coming back. I enjoyed the serenity in the morning better. Even with the crowds, though, the place was organized and efficient. The horses were very healthy. Our guide has been there for about 20 years, and has worked at other ranches too. She said Rainbow Ranch is the best place she's worked. I like riding at a place where the horses and people are treated well.
