I've passed the Burnin Barrel a number of times, but I had the impression that it was a biker bar that was not very conducive to kids. I had expected the inside of the restaurant to be dark and dingy. My assumptions proved wrong. A group of my buddies got together for wings, beers, and burgers on a Tuesday night at the Burnin Barrel. I was impressed by the ambiance; the restaurant was well lite and had plenty of seating. And while we were there, a family - including toddlers - came in for dinner. There are plenty of choices of beer on tap, which was a nice bonus. We shared hot wings. I enjoyed the hot wings, but they could have been just *slightly* crisper. My burger was fantastic. I ordered a Jalapeno Cheddar Burger - although next time I'll try a different one (the red chili sauce on the burger made my hands quite sticky). They use local Hillstone beef for their burgers. Their menu offers lots of variety, including tacos and quesadillas and various sandwiches other than burgers. Overall, we had a pleasant experience with good food and good service. I'll definitely be bringing the family and scheduling more guys' night out in the future at the Burnin' Barrel.

The Burning Barrel was recomended to us by some friends, and it did not disappoint. Nice selection of draft beers and a pleasant staff, made our dinner a nice expierence. We will go back.

Good food, reasonable prices, fantastic staff. We stopped before and after a Covered Wagon Tour to the PA Grand Canyon. All food cooked to order and very good. Comfortable and friendly establishment.

We accidentally found the Burning Barrel when we returned late one evening and everything else was closed. There were 8 of us and we were hungry! We were thrilled this restaurant was open!Service was fast, food was hot and good - chicken tenders, hamburgers, Philly cheesesteaks, fries, and a variety of beers.Just what we needed late at night!Credit cards accepted - down home atmosphere - don't wear anything dressier than blue jeans!

After rafting down the Grand Canyon of PA from Pine Creek Outfitters just down the road, this is a fun place to stop by after you get taxied back to your car from Blackwell. The food is pretty good and the drinks are generous and not overpriced. With the shuffleboard, pool table and dart board, it becomes a fun place to meet new people and have some healthy competitions. The staff is the best part of this place. They make complete strangers feel like family. When the Pine Creek Rafting Association does their annual trip up from Philly each Spring, this is one of the places we try not to miss stopping by. Cheers!
