We love this place! There is no better way to get in touch with nature than to rent a raft and wetsuits from this place before floating 18 miles down the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania on the Pine Creek. Everything you need is here including easy to read water-proof maps of the river and sights to look for: Eagles nests, picnic areas and the elusive Hobdell brothers. Best day on the water anywhere!

Visited there on a slow day in February and found the place as well stocked as I have seen anywhere especially for hikers/campers. They were friendly and knowledgeable. I was especially impressed with the quality level of their merchandise as I have been out of the the camping scene for a while.

We rented bikes from them, to ride the Pine Creek Rail Trail. The staff was very helpful, the bikes were good and suitable for the trail, and access to the trail was about a 5 min. bike ride away. The person who got us our bikes, recommended to be sure to stop at the Turkey Path Trail, to see the waterfall; we’re glad he recommended it. We would use them again.

We own our own kayaks but PCO is our choice for coordinating our pick ups and drop off a whether we are doing upper pine creek or lower. Staff is always very helpful and friendly. We have also rented bicycles in the past to ride to black well. Definitely the best in the pine creek/pa grand Canyon area.

We rented bikes from PCO for a 8 mile round trip bike ride. Our kids (9, 12 & 14) loved it. They had few complaints from the ride (pine creek trail is very flat). We could have done a longer ride. PCO was accommodating and their location to the trail is ideal. I would recommend to anyone with kids under 10 to have PCO drive you to the trail head. The truck traffic on the road to the trail head (approx 1 mile) is unnerving for them.

I just wanted to say a giant THANK YOU for helping us rookies plan our bike trip on Saturday and Sunday. Your directions, suggestions, and shuttle services were perfect and we felt like you really took care of us this weekend. If not for the distance between us we would love to hang out with you guys!!We were able to see so much more of the trail by using the shuttle services rather than having to loop back. In two days we saw 54 miles of the 61 mile trail. These people are the best! We used our own bikes and the shuttle service advice and directions from PCO.

We had a fantastic time with the Pine Creek Outfitters crew during the fourth of july weekend. Between all of the activities they offer it was tough to just pick one for a day! It was my first time mountain biking and our guide was great at showing us the best trails and best views and taking his time with me being a mountain biking newbie! Tubing down the creek was so relaxing and peaceful, we saw so many other pine creek outfitters goers along the creek with tubes/kayaks and canoes as well. This place is ideal for anyone who is looking to rough it up for a little bit and to be in the great outdoors and enjoy the beauty of the land. Not only did Pine Creek Outfitters offer many activities but their staff is some of the friendliest people i've ever met! We will definitely be returning back very soon!

The owners and staff at Pine Creek Outfitters are very helpful and patient. They helped us decide what activity would be best for our family to experience Pine Creek Gorge. With our 4 and 1 year old boys we decided to rent bikes hourly and bike (4 miles each way) to Turkey Path to see the waterfall. This was perfect with a tag a long bike and carriage. The ride was ~30 minutes each way. The boys enjoyed "playing" in the waterfall and watching the water flow by. We felt comfortable with our choice because staff helped us understand our options and made helpful recommendations. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Rented bikes thru PCO on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. They were quite busy. Matt from PCO was nice enough to give us a ride to the trail head near Ansonia. Our daughter literally quit riding at mile 1, mile 2 and mile 2.5 and it's a 17 mile ride thru the PA Grand Canyon from Ansonia to Blackwell. After various bribes, we got her to continue and finished the trip in 5 or so hours. Rented a raft from PCO the next day. Their equipment is well-used and you're not going to get much instruction, but the creek is fairly gentle with only a couple of pretty good stretches of rapids. I think all their boats have slow water leaks so be prepared to bail and stop every so often to tip the raft over. The rapids at Otawassee can be tough so be careful there to avoid the rock on the right towards the end of the rapid. We got stuck right b4 the rock, dislodged ourselves, did a 360 and barely missed it. It's a long ride but beautiful ride with kids as it took us around 6 hours to complete the trip. Happy that PCO is operating at PA Grand Canyon as being on that river is just incredibly beautiful.

My son and I wanted to bike most of the Pine Creek Trail over two days (he is 7) and not worry about our car. We left the car at their base in Ansonia on Saturday and it was waiting for us when we arrived in Waterville on Sunday. We enjoyed a very scenic and leisurely ride with an overnight stay in Cedar Run. They also provide a shuttle service and bike rentals. The Pine Creek Trail is very well maintained and marked. Going south it's essentially a gentle downhill with a 1 to 2 percent grade offering scenery that is hard to beat. Be sure to pack plenty of water for the trip from Ansonia to Blackwell. There are very nice General Stores in Blackwell, Cedar Run, Slate Run and Waterville for snacks and drinks. The trail is a National treasure. If you've never ridden it plan your trip now. Leave the logistics to PCO and just enjoy the trail.
