We live visiting this park. We have kayaked through the creek here with friends and tweens. Also have rode bikes and walked through trails. Beautiful scenery. Very pretty with a little snow!

It was my first visit to the area as well as the park. At all stops we made there was adequate parking. Everything was labeled with signs. Certain areas of the state park were much busier than others. There were many people hiking or biking as well as campers and people just pulled off from the interstate to check things out. I was disappointed to see the camping areas looked like people didnt clean up before leaving and left trash just lay. I must say this is a prime spot for photo opportunities it was so nice but dont forget your bug spray!!!

We felt like going on a field trip and wanted to find something off the beaten trail. If you want to find a real gem, try looking for, and actually going to this waterfall. It is off Hwy 81 Exit 112, go east on PA 25 a few minutes. Pull off of the side of the road at a gravel parking spot not parking lot, and then cross PA 25 to the North side of the highway. The trail starts with a bit of dumped trash, but eventually you will get to a five way intersection in the woods. Take the one to the right that goes down hill. You will eventually get to one of the most beautiful water falls ever. Well worth the drive and hike. Don't worry about the guys with guns, they are just hunting for food. Best stop ever.

Bike and hike trails. play in the Swattie on a hot day. Many cool, deep shaded spots along the creek, but plenty of areas to explore, or hike or bike.

Single track = amazing. Thank the SAMBA bikers for maintaining it so well. I don't bike, but run, and there are plenty of trails to keep me busy for at least an hour.
