Smokers are welcome in the back section and the front is smoke free which was were we were. The wait staff does OK, they do not give their tables 100% of their attention. Had some bar food which was good and the drink selection is good.

I went there last year and somebody at the bar suggested Jambalaya. I have been looking forward to come again and had one last night.. Have not tried anything else but planning to go back few times this month.

My daughter and I stopped for a bite on Saturday, Dec 13 around 3:00 pm.m The place was not busy but our male waiter acted like he had far better things to do. Had he taken the time to ask if my meal (a crab cake - which tasted old and seasoned with something totally unpalletable and uncomplimentary to crab) was o.k. shortly after delivering it, I would have had time to try something else. When I told him, after he finally showed-up at the end of our "meal", that I was dissatified and the crab was inedible, he only mumbled "can I get you something else"? No offer to take it off my check or anything! The Irish nachos had no flavor - just plain, unseasoned hamburger thrown on unslated waffle fries with a bare minimum of cheese. My daughter told me her chesapeake burger had no flavor either and she took what was left home for the dog. Its a shame because a couple of years ago I had a crab cake at Brewhouse and it and the corn relish its served with were delicious! I'll NEVER go there again - not even for a bottled beer!

I have not been impressed with the food here. It seems overly complicated and not as tasty as it is described on the menu. It is ok for chicken wings and bar food but I would not take a date here if i was trying to impress, We like the deck in the summertime even though it doesn't have a view. So for a few drinks and a snack this place works.

my husband and I stopped by this restaurant based on a referral - what a hidden gem it is! Right on State St, you'll miss it if you aren't looking for it. It's nothing fancy, don't wear anything dressier than blue jeans.Be prepared for lots of food, lots of good and delicious food!I had the jumbo stuffed crab cakes ( single was $13.99 - double $18.99) and took the second one home for dinner. Excellent, incredible lump crab meat - very little filler which is so rare. My husband had the ribs, which fell off the bone. Great seasoning and very tasty. There were about 15-20 choices of beer, something for everyone.We were too full for dessert. Credit cards accepted, restrooms clean, although small. Free parking

This is a great restaurant for beers and burgers. They actually have a great variety of foods on the menu, but I always get the burgers. They have a Irish nachos with waffle fries which id a meal in itself. Nice big deck out back with outside bar. Huge beer selection. Definitely kid friendly too.

A little difficult to find...the outdoor sign does not stand out, and the Garmin GPS does not take you to the correct location. However, there must be many repeat customers because the place was packed on a Wednesday night. Why we're they here? For the food, beer, and atmosphere. There is a great beer menu, and an extensive food menu. When the weather permits, the back deck is the place to be for fun and camaraderie. It's first come, first serve on the deck. No reservations outside. So come early to beat the crowd. Prices are very affordable and the food is sure to please your taste buds. The waitresses illuminate the room with their friendly smiles adding to the party like atmosphere.

I stopped by at 10pm on a monday night and was pleasantly suprised by the awesome beer selection, lively atmosphere and good prices. I tried a couple of the apps and the food was great! I would definitely stop by for dinner and drinks next time I'm in town.

As you can imagine, with a name like this you get many choices for beer. My favorite is a Blacksmith (Guiness & Smithwicks). The food is bar food. Service is usually very fast and courtesy.
