The Stanley Theater is a great place to watch a movie.The majority of the movies here are family friendly movies.The interior is clean and the decor reminds me of going to the movies when I was young in the 60's. The Theater has many new updates most recent going Digital. The family that runs the Theater is very friendly and they make the best popcorn I have had at any Theater in the area.

This is how the movies are supposed to be enjoyed! Service is great, cheap prices, great people and cool feel! They even do free movie weekends for certain holidays!!

I wish I would have visited this place sooner. I took my children here to see Frozen recently and it was very nice. The seats are a bit more comfortable compared to other theaters, the sound was good, and the candy was VERY decently priced. I also like how they sometimes have $1.00 movie specials. I would recommend seeing a movie here if you have some free time on the weekend and you happen to be in the Stanley area.

The Stanley Theater is one of a dying breed. The theater has been family owned for two generations and has done recent restorations of the original Art Deco decor. If you ever wanted to show your kids what it was like to go to movies when you were a kid (or your parents were kids!), this is the place to take them! The prices are very reasonable, but bring cash or your checkbook, because they don't accept credit/debit cards. They're on Facebook or you can visit their website to find out what's showing this week. Their snack prices are out of this world...candy as low as 25 cents and popcorn or soda as low as 75 cents! We've been there several times, either as a couple or with our children, and it's been a great experience every time, with the friendly staff and the family-friendly atmosphere.
