sugar river raceway

Sugar River Raceway is a half mile paved track in rural Brodhead, Wisconsin. I understand it was opened in 1959 and has been run by the same family since then. Go karts are available for rent, private races can be scheduled and sanctioned races are held throughout the summer for those with their own karts. Each Thursday night they offer an event called Turnkey Thursday where you and anyone else who shows up and pays $60 can compete against everyone else in 4 separate race heats. Helmets, gloves and jackets are included in the price. These go karts are fast. I guarantee you won't leave thinking like you didn't get your money's worth. In fact, more than likely you'll be absolutely exhausted from all the driving. For anyone who likes to go fast and loves some competition, this is the place for you!
